Here are the origins of all of the bosses in Sonic Pocket Adventure for the Neo Geo Pocket Color. Footage for all these games were recorded on a Nintendo Wii U & PlayStation 4. All footage was recorded at 1080p & 60fps.

Secret plant zone boss music origin: Boss theme (Sonic the hedgehog 3)
Knuckles the echidna boss music origin: Flying battery (Sonic & Knuckles/Sonic 3& Knuckles)
Mecha Sonic/silver sonic boss music origin: Doomsday zone (Sonic & Knuckles/Sonic 3& Knuckles)
Chaotic space zone boss music origin: Sky sanctuary (Sonic & Knuckles/Sonic 3& Knuckles). There ya go.

Bro i played this a couple of years back like in 2009 or something it was the most pleasant surprise, it surely felt like playing through sonic mania but in 8-bit because of its callbacks to sonic 2 & 3.
@zyriuz2 yeah I actually have it I just need a new neo geo pocket color lol but you're right it was definitely a pleasure to play that I felt like it had a little bit more variety than sonic 4 episode 1
@@EDifyer881 definately, it is like a light version of sonic 2 at it's core but it takes things from sonic 1 and sonic 3 & knuckles, mania in contrast to that is very much its own thing but still borrows stuff of the classics :)
Man I hope SNK can somehow manage to get this in Vol.2, its the only Neo Geo Pocket game everyone is clambering for, dunno much about the Pocket even though I had one when I was younger but they mostly ported all of the good ones except this one.

I had a neo geo pocket when I was a kid just for this game and capcom vs snk. To this day I think I'm one of loke 50 or so Americans that played this game on original hardware when it was new. I still have it.
tbh pocket adventure maybe a copy of s2 and s3 but for a small hardware this is honestly good

In the japanese versiom he is originaly named Mecha Sonic, even on the 8bit version, only that "Silver Sonic" name is more popular. Is like if there was 3 different mecha sonics

No, his original name in japan is mecha sonic, silver sonic is only his name in the comic and master system version, and even if he wasn't called mecha sonic then he is robo sonic cause of lego dimensions
