This is a cool video.. I played Sonic Pocket Adventure first before Sonic 3&K so it was cool hearing the 8-bit renditions first 😁
Also I feel for completeness purposes, even though they’re not level tracks, you could have included the following as well:
- Invincibility (debuted in Sonic 3&K)
- Act Clear (debuted in Sonic 3&K)
- 1-Up Theme (debuted in Sonic 3&K)
- and mayyybee the credits theme (another variation of the Sonic 3 title screen theme)
Other than that, fantastic effort 👍🏻👍🏻
Fun fact: most of Sonic Pocket Adventures's music is based on Sonic 3 & Knuckles. And zones are based on Sonic 2.
Neo South Island is based off of Green Hill from Sonic 1, and Gigantic Angel is based off of Scrap Brain from Sonic 1

Huh, it's kind of ironic that the title screen theme from sonic 3 was used for both the title screen theme and special stages for pocket adventure but with the special stages having the theme more remixed than the title theme, huh?
The Sonic 2 level design with Sonic 3 & Knuckles music is really throwing me.

It's a pretty good game. The levels are very simplistic but not mindless. It's quite short and expect not to get chaos emeralds on your first run. At around the end of the 4th level, things can start getting irritating, aerobase SUCKS. If you like 16-bit sonic 2 and this artstyle, you're in for a treat. Would recommend.
