    Mayu UNLEASHED!!! 🤘💪 🔥
I love that she is getting more aggressive and 'darker' in the harsh sections.
Also, while it was obvious they would have to make some changes when Saki left, I never once doubted their ability to move on to even greater things if they wanted. WAY to much talent in the remaining 4 members!

Impressive song, I hope they can keep up this quality. It sounds very modern and shows a lot of Mayu's extreme vocal style.

I would like to highlight my favorite drummer Tamu Murata. She is going all in (100% effort) on the drum fills. However, Haraguchi-San and Hazuki-San are just killing the guitars. Add in Mayu-San and the song is complete. On a side note if I might continue. Mayu-San has no rivals!(IMO)

Agree on all counts. Mayu-san is my favorite vocalist in metal, one of the all-time greats even though she's still young and has so much more to give us. Versatile (to say the least), powerful, and quite technically accomplished in many subtle ways...plus she's an absolute weapon of mass charisma in a live setting. I've seen them live four times (fifth coming next month), and every single time I've gotten that magical "I am in the presence of greatness" vibe.
Tamu-san has, since the switch to a quartet system, added some extra elements to her drum lines. In the "evolution" versions of some of their older songs and in this new release, she's thrown in some complexities in order to help keep the sound full and powerful in the absence of a second guitar. But because she's so skilled and has such spot-on musical instincts, she doesn't overplay when she does this. A legit master...
Hazuki-san eschewed a shreddy solo for some earth-shaking riffage in this one, and I think that was a great call (a decision that would have been made, I assume, by her, composer Mayu, and whoever was principally responsible for the arrangement). Gigging pro guitarist here, and while I certainly dig good shredding (of which she's more than capable) , I also love first-rate rhythm riffing, and this song has 'em.
Haraguchi-san also isn't putting a lot of flash into her part on this song, but when I listen specifically to the bass, it's instantly obvious that it's the perfect bass line for this song...a perfect foundation for everything that's happening. Sometimes that's exactly what a song needs from the bass, and that's what she delivers here. This band's rhythm section is like two people with a single mind sometimes...
And I've babbled on way too long! ;)

Apparently Hazuki has also written a new song. They must be getting ready for a new album. Reading their comments about Evolve it appears they made a concerted effort to write a few of their own but Kensuke Akiyama their genius producer would quickly write the rest so they could get an album out in January. Akiyama left when Saki left as well so maybe they’ll do the same with a new producer or producers. The guy who wrote the lyrics and produced this Mayu composition killed it so hope he does more of the same. This is one of their best songs.
