The new 4 piece evolution of Nemophila is awesome as usual. This song composed by Mayu with a new producer. The guitarist Hazuki has also written a new song which may be out soon as well.
I absolutely love his song and Nemophila. If you had the time to follow the members of Nemophila and Lovebites on social media, you might have seen pictures of Mayu (Nemophila vocalist) and Miyako (Lovebites guitarist and pianist) on a fishing trip together. What I would have given to be there! They have also posted other pictures of the two bands together from time to time. I’ve seen Nemophila four times in the US and Japan. Now I finally get to see Lovebites in the US this September 2024. ❤️🌸 ❤️🐺
Mayu UNLEASHED!!! 🤘💪 🔥 I love that she is getting more aggressive and 'darker' in the harsh sections. Also, while it was obvious they would have to make some changes when Saki left, I never once doubted their ability to move on to even greater things if they wanted. WAY to much talent in the remaining 4 members!
When you have a chance again to see Nemophila, do whatever it takes to get there. They are one of the best live bands anywhere...truly magical. I've seen them twice in the US, twice in Japan (and will see them again here in Sapporo next month. Legit "in the presence of greatness" vibe every time. The most recent show was also the first time I've seen them with the new quartet lineup, and they were no less special.
Yesterday was a crazy Japanese music day with not only a new Nemophila song, but a new Lovebites song, and two new Unlucky Morepheus song, and if you are into idol metal the group MAZE released a new song, they are like a combination of Dexcore and Passcode, they get guitarist from visual kei band to help them make the music. I also think we are getting a new Hanabie song in a week, and soon a new Band-Maid music video as they have teased their music video with The Warning. Arch Enemy also released a new song yesterday. So much new music to react to.
MAZE are wonderful! The alt-idol underground scene has some really good, really heavy groups. I also love LyricHolic Opera Company, Maleficium, Isiliel, THE+BETH (much, much heavier live than their videos), etc.
Why do people keep raising the subject of Lovebites when talking about Nemophila? They are totally different bands and totally different *kinds* of bands. It makes no sense to compare them. With Lovebites you can pretty much guess what you're going to get, and be sure it'll kick ass. With Nemophila you can be sure of the ass-kicking quality but beyond that all bets are off: it may not even be metal. Still, Mayu amd Miyako have been fishing buddies in the past, and Mayu got to feel Midori's muscles when Nemophila went to a Lovebites gig a while back, so I guess there's that much in common.
Strangely I like some pop and some metal. Unfortunately I don't like growlers or things that are too pop which this is. Having said that the music arrangement and playing was great.
you guys should react to Lovebites Scream For Me daughters of the dawn live tokyo 2019 if you want to hear their guitar players do 14 solos in that one song or Signs of Diverance which in my opinion is one of their best solos ive ever seen or if you want more Nemophila Ama-Te-Ras official live video, Night Flight either Live or official music video, Style official music video, Hynosis official music video if you want something different, or try some of their covers like Babymetal Megitsune, Linkin Park Given Up with chesters 17 second scream, ACDC whole litta rosie, Iron Maiden Aces High and The trooper, Skid Row youth gone wildFoofighters walk and panterra walk you havent touch on anything lovebites and nemophila there is so more for you to check out please let me know what you thinkic v
If I had a wish it would be Nemophila opening for Lovebites. I've seen them twice live in SoCal and they were extremely taleneted and extremely engaged with the audience. It was fire. Mayu's vocals - screams and cleans are fantastic. Great bass work from Haraguchi-san, Tamu is one of the best drummers in Japan and Hazuki is right behind Midori & Miyako from Lovebites. When they get back to states you guys need to see them.
I love Nemophila, and this song was great, but I was severely disappointed that there was no guitar solo this time - this makes at least the 2nd or 3rd song for them without a guitar solo, which deeply worries me (and I hope isn't a sign of things to come - even their guitar solos when they had 2 guitarists were *really* short). They need to go the Lovebites way and throw in some minute-long solos, Hazuki is quite capable of doing some acrobatics there and it would definitely add to the "holy sh23" factor of the vocals and the amazing drumming.
Lovebites is a power metal band, they can do a 2 minutes guitar solo if they want, but Nemophila is a completely different type of band, imagine if this song has a 1 minute guitar solo, do you think it will be appropriate? We all know that Hazuki is an excellent guitarist, but metal is more than just guitar solos, the musicians must serve the song structure first.
Don't ever compare Nemophila to Lovebites an Nemophila should never try to be like lovebites because lovebites are boring an all they're songs sound the same !! Troll get out of here poser
