It is a subsidiary of Sekisui Metal, a well-established model train manufacturer famous for its "KATO" brand, and has a showroom adjacent to the company building.
An actual Keikyu Type 230 train is on display outside the building, which has become a symbol of the company's presence.
The "showroom"
One of the largest model railroad stores in Japan, exhibiting and selling mainly KATO products.
Admission is free. You can admire the vast and precise dioramas, and even if you're not here for shopping, you'll enjoy them immensely.
You can take someone who isn't interested in railroads and not get boring looks from them.
"First Floor"
There is a large diorama space and space to display and sell model trains.
KATO's original clear files and stickers are available for sale.
