Wow, you can really put the food away, amazing. We had a great Japanese restaurant here in Los Angeles called Asaya for more than 30 years, they closed up and moved back to Japan. Sad, I loved their food.
I so wish I could visit Japan, and enjoy the Udon and Bonito by train! Here in North Carolina outside the big cities, Raleigh area and Charlotte area, it is hard to find a good Japanese restaurant. When I lived just South of San Francisco, it was easy to find authentic Japanese restaurants, and I miss them. I really enjoy your train tours, from great to not so great ones. I'm Indian, this reminds me of traveling to my home state by long route trains, falling alseep, playing cards with fellow passengers, sharing food, talking... falling asleep and wake up and look out of window seeing random nature or cities. man i miss those days

I would have loved to see Japan in my lifetime. I traveled a lot in Asia, I had a Chinese family, I visited the beaches of Thailand, I climbed the mountains of Bali and I got lost in the forgotten temples of Cambodia. After having seen and experienced so much, I would like to set my feet on the islands of the Japanese archipelago. But I see in your videos that nothing is designed for a poor Western devil. Signs and indications are all, or almost all, in Japanese ideograms. I'm not that young anymore, I've never been smart. Show us a Japan more within our reach. I love traveling comfortably, at my age I can afford it, not in luxury, with dignity. Show us things we can do in your wonderful country. Your videos are beautiful. Thank you with all my heart.
