This song is a classic
About 1986 I took a plywood and sawed out a guitar shape and then painted it and it looked like Randy's Flying V. I would pretend that I could play the fake guitar to 8 track stereo. Then I bought a real guitar. The new guitar was an 87' Nitro One Pevey and it played great for years and even wore the paint off of it from playing it. I still have the guitar!
Great job, as always, Dave! 😊👍 I would never steer you wrong, haha! I love the awesome musicianship and music writing in this. This was the great Randy Rhoads at his songwriting and musicianship peak. Ozzy Osbourne has always relied heavily on having a great lead guitarist, since the master Tony Iommi first took him on board. In my opinion, although Randy was his best, I greatly prefer the Ozzy great Jake E. Lee to Zakk Wilde. Great lyrics in this song: “Enemies fill up the pages. Are they me?”

In such little time Randy Rhoads excelled from Blizzard of Ozz to Diary of a Madman. Just shows what He was capable of achieving, if not for the tragic plane crash. Great lyrics by Bob Daisley, and great music written by Randy. You can hear the Classical/HM guitar sound. Just amazing.
