    I am being kinda picky here, but the cable clamps are on backwards. The cast part that the nuts tighten against is the saddle and the steel u-bolt is the stirrup. Remember the adage, "never saddle a dead horse" It has to do with strength and cable clamp failure, but the saddle never goes against the tail end of the cable. As installed, the stirrups are pinching the load bearing cable causing a weak spot.

    LQQKs good. an engine hoist could do the same or need to modify but if you have scrap laying around and have the time. I prefer building things instead of purchase but time in money... needs counterbalance and those wheels will require a perfectly clean floor.

    It all looks sufficient for what he's doing although I see room for improvement. Actually I am using some of his ideas for a different project. There is a reason an engine hoist is built the way it is. The front legs extended forward as outriggers would give much better stability as you can see when he moves it with a load attached.

    you put all three clamps on wrong. the saying to remember is don't ever saddle a dead horse. you have a dead end and you have part of clamp that looks like a saddle. That part always goes on the loaded part of the cable.

    • @LuisAlbertoAriasEcheverri
      @LuisAlbertoAriasEcheverri 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@fawabros It is logical that your design does not carry counterweight, since the winch you chose is the most economical and light load, but if you can buy one that can withstand more weight, for example 1200 lbs, and you would need the counterweight ....

      People can figure it out, the measurements are shown there as he makes the thing with a tape measure, how lazy are you?🤷🤦, he shows how he made it and you're actually complaining that he didn't go out out his way even further to list every little detail? 🤦Seriously figure it out for yourself, he has given you enough information to figure it out for yourself, if you cannot do that than don't complain because that is at that point just being lazy... Sheesh, not even thanking him for figuring it out and posting it online..... For FREE, really if you cannot figure out from the video than there is no way you'll actually be able to make it period.🤦
