beautiful n easy delicious looking recipe. If u cut thru the slice showing how soft , moist n goey it's from inside will make it more enjoyable. In any dish if u do this last step of slicing n showing layers would be best.

Will this buttercream be stable at room temperature in a humid climate like Malaysia? I'm asking because the ratio of icing sugar to butter is very little and there is condensed milk too... definitely worth a try because I think it's not very sweet.
I dont know full in cups but this is how close i can get: 2 tbsp cocoa 3 tbsp hot water 1/4 cup oil 1/4 cup milk 1 3/4 tbsp sugar 1/8 tsp salt 1 cup flour 1 tbsp cornflour 4 egg yolks 1 large egg 4 whites 6 1/2 tbsp sugar Almost 1 cup butter 1/2 cup icing sugar 1 tbsp condensted milk
These were so good. I made these for a party and they were all gone by the end of the night. I'll make these again in the future!

原来都是其他的奶油打发,这次是全黄油,这种黄油蛋糕很多年没有了吧,太腻了。

Tried and love it. Soft and fluffy. But the buttercream, i used Swiss Meringue Buttercream. Its soft, silky and not sweet.

Oil is better because it stays lovely and moist. Never goes stale. You can use melted butter but it will become tough after storing.
