You did a great job with this game. Showed all digimon to town, showed some epic tech learning including most rares, both money and stat tricks, and completed the game. Great job side note also when beating the game you unlock Machinedramon in 2 player battle he tough but not perfect.
Great LP, enjoyed it all the way through. As one of my oldest and dearest games/franchises, right next to Pokemon, Spyro, Rayman and Crash Bandicoot, it brings a tear to my eye seeing it all completed again. :')

This is probably the best game mechanic for digimon game.

Analogman does come back in Digimon: Digital card battle as the end story boss. He hacks the game and cheats so he can win and take over the card battle digital world because he failed taking over this digital world.
Thing is, I think that it may be a different Analogman since it was stated "many humans" fought digimon once before
He's also back on Next Order as well, that one's the same Analogman as he recalls Hiro.
Though I wouldn't discard Card Arena's Analogman being the same.
Remember Hiro never saw his face there and he just called himself "A".
Perhaps he was covering for the same of being beat by literally a 7 year old...
I remembered I cleared this game when I was 10 years old. without any guide. I played for 30 digi years before i get access across the waterfall. I was able to because this game was basically my life.
The moment I reached home from school, I will either be with my digivice or PSX's digimon world till night and even without a guide, I was able to get quite 2 ultimate, first one phonixmon which made my day for like a week, and second one megaseadramon.
YESSSSSS I FINALLY FOUND YOU AGAIN AFTER 2 YEARS AGO!!! I just wanted to re-watch this LP ehe, cause it actually has commentary :3
@RiiidgeRaacer My pleasure! The biggest complaint I have about this game is that you really NEED some sort of guide to get through it. I was very shocked at how well this turned out. Sure, I had to wing it at some points, but a ton of planning went into the order I did things to get the biggest bang for my buck. This game could have been better recieved if it had been easier to pick up and play.
It's been such a long time! I loved this game when I was a kid. I still have the metal greymon card that came with it. I'm working in Japan right now and a couple months ago just happened to see Re-Digitize. I know they had a sequal before, but it just wasn't the same. This is a true sequal to the original. It's a must have for anyone who loved the original. Anyone can buy it through an import site, for those who don't live in asia.
Funny thing is, I finished the game with a Mamemon so I was surprised to see it appear at the ending video.

I remember playing this for +300 hours as a child, and still only getting to around 50 prosperity points... Never completing it. In my defense, I didn't know english at the time thus, I couldn't underdstand things, and it was all without the internet help. And I had gotten +50% of all the digimon ;P

Oddly enough, Analogman appears in the Card Battle spinoff, so you find out what happened to him. Basically he himself died in the incident, but his consciousness somehow survived.
Anyway, this LP was pretty cool. It's understandable that you don't want to do DWM2 since you never played it, so I guess this is it for the Digimon games. >:

Just beat this game for the first time last week, even though I played it a lot when I was a kid. Some how I managed to get Herculeskabuterimon twice during the play through and one of those times it happened 2 days before the usual ultimate digivolving time (random digivolving system is random, lol).
And for this fight I managed to own Machinedramon in just a few seconds thanks to somehow getting a Pheonixmon up to 8000/800 in all stats without it dying and it knowing the move thunder justice.
love this game.

I remember when I discovered that glitch, such a pain to get spawn the egg. infinite money from the snow forts...so much clicking
I remember when i was a kid an play this game, that i through that behind the waterfall there was an special place to evolve the digimons to the mega stage and i wasn't very good that this game at the time, so until i was 8(i played this at my 6 year for first time) i didn't get to the waterfall and when i got to it and begging to go to the upper levels i begun to understand that this was the end game (please have in mind that english it isn't my first language, and at the time i wasn't very good at it :S)

I like how the graphics look so much better in this game than in Digimon world 2..
Now i have to admit, you did a damn good job, my choice was using megaseadramon however, spam his ice stun, my digimon was nearly max stats, mainly because i trained more than anything else.
my file city rating was only like 47 then. and one day, i just realised that the waterfall is gone and i can cross over to the ending part..
so with the typical explorer mindset of the game, i entered and realise that was actually the ending! o_O! I was thinking of getting leomon after exploring whats beyond the waterfall, i remembered
No, it's not breaking the 4th wall, from various things in the game it was figured out the bad guy behind everything was a human. [Especially Factorial Town]

Sadly, after finishing the game, in which I saved after the ending, i realise i could never load back my old data, when i load what was saved at the ending like yours. it load a new game which really screwed my life, and made me quit eventually. old my old digimon was gone.

I remember how I beat this game. I tried really hard to get a megaseadramon but I overshot the weight and had no idea how to put it back down so I just said "screw this" and proceeded to spam ice statue 300,000 times with my shellmon (because ice statue is a really fast move). and won like that. I beat digitamamon like that too.
Analogman looks like "Boxer Robert" from a Swedish commetcial. The exact same hairdo, exact same glasses, exact same face.

i am so close to this part of the game. ive beaten devimon and megadramon, but havent yet been able to beat metalgreymon
I'm having so many problems on getting digimon that needs care mistake to be get... I always let my champions/rookies poop on the ground, don't feed them and stuff, but they always digivolve into digimon that don't need care mistakes... Do you have any idea what it can be?
lol when i had this game i didnt know how to get a champion and was kinda scared to go around traveling cause i worked so hard to get my awesome champion greymon really glad to see the ending :D
It's also a crazy little theory of mine that Analogman's Machinedramon is the same as the Dark Master Machinedramon. Again, just a crazy little theory, but I wanted to put it out there.
+Kahran042 I'd say Analogman's Mugendramon is the same that later does a Jogress evolution with Kimeramon thus creating Mileniummon. But apparently that digimon is a paradox itself given the fact that the dark master is a part of Milleniummon sent to that time/dimention to assure it's own existence (Milleniumon's) so we both would be correct I guess.

This is kind of old now but. MetalGreymon isn't the only digimon able to learn infinity burn. Phoenixmon can too.
Because this game came before the anime.

you know, I really want to finish this game but, when I go to mt infinity I did not meet with the boss analogmon but damn Digitamamon
machinedramon was a pain for me. i was only doing a little bit of damage each attack and was running out of floppys. he never stunned me though and i never bothered with protection floppys
mine kept dieing before the ultimate stage of digimon
No plot holes.Time in the Digital World passes in a different speed rate and Digimon don't age like people.Some mature,some stay rookies forever and stuff like that.It's a fictional thing.

Machinedramon easily has one of my favorite final boss themes of all time. Although how the heck is an egg stronger then him is odd.

Then mute it or don't watch. I don't have a time machine to go back 22 months and re-record this just for you, nor can I change my natural voice without drastic measures.
But this digimon that has followed you through all this time have been able to digivolve back and forth like crazy, so it should,

I blew this boss to pieces with a Megaseadramon. Ice Statue spam stunned him so he couldn't TJ me, therefore he was rendered useless.
I know,you're right.But,then again,think about it.In this particular game,it fights all the time(so it's data increases!),you feed it all the time(so,it's strength is kept up!)and you give it modifying chips in battle,so,even more data,plus,the fact that it evolves out of need to fight...still,it's meant for kids and it's a fictional video game/anime thingy.What did you expect?A beard? :P Still,think of the chips you gain and give to it sometimes,that can make your digimon evolve to other ones!

Aye,it's kind of "leaking" on the life/evolution system,but,kids aren't supposed to think about that!Trust me,it annoys me too.If I had it my way,I would have a MetalGreymon or a Megadramon or a MetalSeadramon forever! :P
Digitamamon in this game has better stats than even MetalGreymon and Megadramon if you get it legit
