I think a way they could give Underlord an ultimate is to give him the Enchantress treatment. Move his current ult to a basic ability, essentially giving him free group TPs as a basic ability, then moving his passive to his ult slot and making it a significantly more powerful active ability instead where he just continually drains HP from nearby units and gains attack damage based on the amount drained for like 10 seconds or whatever. That would make his power curve less flat so as to provide more obvious openings, allow one of his utility mechanics to be relevant because it doesn't have a longer cooldown than a 50 gold consumable and make him into more of an early game powerhouse with a significant spike at 6.
IOs one of the most broken hero in the game and his ults a worse version of underlords so they could leave it as is and buff other abilities but your idea could work, they could also add a version of his ags to the main ability so you can create early game team presence on multiple lanes that would be really strong

I know Underlord gets some well deserved flak but before he was changed and added to DOTA 2, he absolutely terrorized DOTA 1 with the Firestorm/Expulsion (Corpse Explosion) combo, could effortlessly and infinitely stall entire teams trying to push.
a cool ultimate for under lord would be either a passive aura or an active ability that increases allied outgoing damage and decreases allied incoming damage. pretty simple and not super exciting but i think it would be a huge advantage in team fights and ganks and pushes and roshan kills
8:20 Enchantress DOES have an ultimate. They just moved it to her Q button, gave it 4 ranks, and let her put points in it at level 1 then made her R a basic ability :p
What about Pit Lord ult: "Create a portal at every alied hero location, which they can use to teleport to Pit Lord instantly." - could be used to save somebody from sticky situation, or to let your carry join the fight/push when he is farming on the other side of the map...
This jugg video is going to be interesting, the only dota youtuber that I watch (Baumi) interviewing the pro player (xboct (4) ) that inspired me play carry and follow the pro scene back in 2013
thats interesting. it is most likely the same "bug" that was used in OAA back then when gaining the boss souls. to get the item from the neutral choice you most likely need to have access to the stash and that made aghs and the recipe combine in the same moment. that would be my guess
Having a mediocre ultimate is fine design space if your plan is to have the rest of the design be powerful. Look at Nature's Prophet! His ultimate is complete donkey shit but has always remained relevant because he has a global teleport, cc that can get around magic immunity, and summons that are really good at fighting towers. Meanwhile Underlord has... an AD buff? A slow wave clear spell? What does his W even DO?
Okay the last 2 1x6 was flawless, i think, in terms of missed orbs (which means there was none missed orbs), but now i am kind of mad that he did not manage to get all the buildings lol xD

How much is 10 damage in comparison with 2% spell damage? Because burning spear isnt spell damage comparable?
