Treasured by Buddhists of all traditions, The Way of the Bodhisattva (Bodhicharyavatara) is a guide to cultivating the mind of enlightenment and to generating the qualities of love, compassion, generosity, and patience. This text has been studied, practiced, and expounded upon in an unbroken tradition for centuries. Presented in the form of a personal meditation in verse, it outlines the path of the Bodhisattvas--those who renounce the peace of individual enlightenment and vow to work for the liberation of all beings and to attain buddhahood for their sake.
Shantideva was a scholar in the eighth century from the monastic university Nalanda, one of the most celebrated centers of learning in ancient India. According to legend, Shantideva was greatly inspired by the celestial bodhisattva Manjushri, from whom he secretly received teachings and great insights.

I've done almost nothing but listen to this channel most of my days and nights for over a week. Even while sleeping or doing anything else. Everyone else doing the same, I feel highly connected to you right now. You must know what I'm feeling and I also feel you here.
I’ve done this like the last two months too😂
So wonderful to have the whole spectrum of teachers at my disposal. Have been on the path of Oneness and Non Duality for a decade. And interesting enough now feel more inspired by the Buddhist masters. At night doing a Bardo meditation, in the day... become a bodhisattva...the world needs many of us: bringing our very enemies to perfect bliss.
It says in the diamond sutra if you get just one person to understand the transidental wisdom you get more merit that someone who has sacrificed they’re lives as many times as there are grains of sand in the Ganges, 🙏🏼 u r blessèd for uploading these

It's taken a week or so for me to realize that this MAY be my FAVORITE youtube channel. I am a long time devotee of the spiritual lineage of H,H. YooToob.. ( ..A joke... I'll assume you laughed so...

And through my decade of searching and filtering and discovering of spiritual videos and channels, I have many recommendations of the cream of the crop for sincere spiritual aspirants.
'Foundation for Inner Peace', 'Nisarga Yoga', and 'Medicine of One' are among the top of that list if you're interested.
But I want to say, I'm not sure I've ever found a channel with as much "truth-per-second" as this channel here. I can think of maybe one contender but there is no clear winner.
Basically this comment has two purposes :
-To show how smart I think I am.
And:
-To compliment you on your wonderful channel while conveying to anyone reading this that I highly recommend it.

This is great- our teacher has us reading this and he instructed us to stop after each verse and reflect on it. This is so wonderful to find! I hope other chapters will follow? I think I only saw chapter 9 on your channel other than this one.

@@SamaneriJayasara Those are some great chapters to start with. Those are definitely ones with some of the most useful stuff, or at least the ones that get the best press so to speak. I hope you get around to the rest one day. I'm doing an intensive study with my sangha right now and we're doing the whole book, and your recording happens to read the book EXACTLY as our teacher instructed us to read the text- one verse, pause, next verse... slowly so each one has a chance to sink in. I really hope you get to other chapters eventually. Thank you again. Bowing, Rob.
I have learned the same way. After each sentence of two, it is best to take
10 or 20 seconds to contemplate and then another few seconds of mauna(silence). In this way we actually absorb the teachings. Otherwise I notice I start with perfect attentiveness and over time I start noticing that I haven't heard anything that was said for a few minutes.
