You got any videos on that banks gauge? I am debating on whether I need one or not. Not really sure what parameters are worth seeing with it specific to the 3.0L.
I just bought a 2024 Sierra Denali with the 3.0 diesel, I only have 1000 miles on it and the oil is black. I remember the last time I had a diesel the oil would be darker that a gas truck. Is that normal in these trucks for the oil to be black?
Yes, it's normal for diesel. Even when you do a fresh oil change, it will turn black within 100 miles. The soot from diesel fuel is what turns it black.
Yes, I think its a great product and do plan to get it in the future when the budget allows. The only thing I don't like is that it seems to hang below the frame a bit. I did pre order their catch can though. If o do get the Fuel filter kit I do plan on reviewing it.
@@automotiveandmore I can personally say that the fuel filter kit is worth the money. Quality parts and gives a good piece a mind know that it has a double filter filtration system. I wouldn’t be to concerned with one of the filters hanging lower than the frame as you’ll have to be going over a really huge rock in order to hit the filter.
@@gasparsperformance9841 I'm in Florida so my concern is not rocks but sand. Sometime you drag the frame in the sand and just hope that the kit is sturdy enough to handle that. Not a huge concern but its in the back of my mind.
Usually dont comment but your doing good work good job
@jesusr.trevino6996 i appreciate it, thank you!
I have the Chevy version and love it! What is the tuner you have on your truck?
@@drbradywirick not a tuner. It's a Banks iDash. It helps monitor a ton of vehicle parameters.

@@grimmysnr1 I actually do have a couple of videos on the gauge o my page.

Have you thought about switching over to the vse fuel filter kit?

You thinking about deleting the truck ever?
Every day, lol. More than the reliability and power, it's the noise that I miss. It's like a gap that can't be filled without a delete.
Im on the same page hahaha it almost feels like a gas engine lol so quiet.@@automotiveandmore
