I had installed the lower dogbone mount from 034 motorsport for 2 years and now have the upper insert. I'm honestly amazed how much better the car drives with the complete kit. Idk if it's necessary on an automatic, but it's a must have for manuals.

I got a 2016 and I did tinted windows, aftermarket rims, aftermarket headlights, smoked tail lights, custom exhaust of course new sound system lol. But what would you recommend as next upgrades? I never thought of coil pack but I’m thinking big bore would be good. Also was thinking about abs oil catch can. Slowly doing upgrades. Almost got it paid off!

CTS catless is cheaper. If you ever change your mind though, just look into purchasing a high flow cat for the midpipe. It cuts back on the scent or sound if you wanna change that without negatively impacting performance really.

Depends on whether you go apr. Apr you can do an 87 tune. I'm going stage 1 possibly next year and it will be 87. Once I go stage 2 obviously I'll have to go to 93 but I'm only tuning it for the throttle response and more pep

@@antoinefbm the laminx is for the fog lights. The black wrap / vinyl was just cut by hand. I just bought 10 feet of wrap to play with . It was cheap. The sun visor was installed by a shop for $50 at a local tint place

That bulb out light on the dash would come on and off periodically. I now use leds for damn near every light except the headlights. Now the bulb out light never comes on…
@@valiantone395 is right. However there is always a small chance of running lean or something when u do pulls with a stock ecu file with a downpipe. The car does want to protect itself tho, normally fine

The charge pipe u are referring to right? Charge pipes on these cars create a lot more lag down low and like 2 more hp up top. Not worth it in my opinion . Lag between gears and from a start is not worth it

@@jaxonbutters1243 I'm not sure how a custom one would leak less than the oem one? That means the OEM has to be straight trash lol. Just don't forget a bigger charge pipe means more lag and loss of pressure sometimes. Our car's can't flow enough to need them or to have them make a difference.

the fans? Like the ones in front of the engine used for cooling? That is auto regulated so that means your car is running hot and/or you use the a/c a lot . Basically you can't do anything about it . If you're low on coolant or your cooling system is dirty than you can fix that

Hey know I’m late but just recently got a 1.4S auto and just wondering why u said to not do a larger charge pipe and with the being said would u recommend the ecs tuning silicone turbo outlet hose?
Larger charge pipes would result in more lag from the turbo . Would only be beneficial if you live in a colder area and have an upgraded intake and downpipe. Obviously tuned too.
Why did you buy a 4 door sedan, only do a stage 2 tune with a stock turbo and then gut the interior?! Imho its trashy looking now inside and you literally gained no discernable performance. The ambient air temperature makes a bigger difference that that tiny weight savings.
Youre talking like u know something. I like the gutted look since I don't have anyone to put in the back seats. Idc if it's trashy all my friends like it. It's more room for groceries lol. The 200lbs I removed did help in performance, every little thing helps. The ambient air temp does make a difference but if u know anything about the 1.4s in the US , u can't easily reduce the air temps since they don't have a intercooler. Stage 2 is also specifically meant for stock turbo... stage 2+ or higher is for aftermarket turbos.

hello! I'm not sure if it'll fit since in the US we don't have twin charged jettas. So I think your exhaust set up might be different. U can always have a exhaust shop make u a custom downpipe. My car is NOT twin charged and my stock car makes 150hp

the 2.5l i5 is a great motor. My car has a stock motor with a sstock turbo. it came like this. U should turbo ur car

I literally cut it myself, it’s just wrap /vinyl. It doesn’t hide the blinker, the only purpose is to hide the amber reflector

No, the ecu adjusts parameters automatically. I have an turbo back exhaust on my Evo without a tune for 13 years no problems.

The 200lbs I removed did help in performance, every little thing helps. The ambient air temp does make a difference but if u know anything about the 1.4s in the US , u can't easily reduce the air temps since they don't have a intercooler. Stage 2 is also specifically meant for stock turbo... stage 2+ or higher is for aftermarket turbos.
@@MK6CHRIS oh sorry. I guess I didn't realize that you had the 1.4l. all I was saying about the stripped interior is that you should have just bought a 2 door car if you didn't need the back seat. It would've saved a lot of weight by not hauling two extra doors around. An older Golf, GTI, Beetle, or EOS? I guess if you like it, then cool.

hello! I'm not sure if it'll fit since in the US we don't have twin charged jettas. So I think your exhaust set up might be different. U can always have a exhaust shop make u a custom downpipe. My car is NOT twin charged and my stock car makes 150hp

Yeah they have oem brackets u can buy. They don’t cost much . Literally oem fitment . Untrained eye would assume they’re stock

Why would you advise against a bigger chargepipe?
because we aren't flowing enough air to justify the bigger charge pipes. Bigger charge pipes means more lag if u dont have the extra air velocity

as shown in my video , i have a gli grille on a base model bumper. I have a video on the grille on the channel. The lower honey comb part is not exchangeable
