Hey bud. They came out looking good. I was curious about all the extra wires I saw in the pictures online so this video answered my question. How is the light output with those led’s through those projectors? And how’s the cutoff on those projectors? Nice and crisp like a projector is suppose to be or is it off? Did you ever get any light out indicators from this setup? Btw, just a recommendation if you ever do mk6 Jetta headlight again. Don’t take that top metal cover off or the bumper. Pull those 3 or 4 headlight bolts off and push the outter part of the headlight in and you can angle the whole headlight out. There was a recall for the mk6 headlights when they first came out for internal wiring. I had the headlight out, rewired and reinstalled in under 5 minutes. Best time was 3 minutes 20 seconds per side iirc.
And now i've got the headlights! What is the harness you've used between the OEM harness and teh VLand light? It seems i need different pin layout between the two.

@@AdonayLopez bro, did you find it difficult to adjust the side to side of these vlands? I keep turning and turning the screw but the light beam doesn't move.......I think I'm going to try with a power tool not a screwdriver...see if that helps.
@@r_s1776 what i did was just put all the screws in the position they’re supposed to go and move the headlights around until i like the position it was sitting at and then started to tighten them one by one but not completely tight just in case you have to move the light again.

hvelazquez01 thank you very much! The intake i took the air box off and bought some intake pipes and the air filter from advanced autoparts and put them together nothing fancy lol. I have to get an actual kit for the cold air.

Are the headlights bi projectors? I keep seeing reviews saying nothing happens when turning on high beams. I find it odd they wouldn't use a bi projector being single beam, but I am curious.
@DeAngelo Capron they are bi-projector but single filament bulbs. Mine works fine with modifications I've done. I bought these and had to make some wiring changes as it wasn't working right. They also use a dual bi-projector but cover the other light which means there is a false light turning on with high beams. Potential for fire with how it is.

I had this same issue. Did some research. On my VW plug the DRL are pin 10 and on the VLAND it should be pin 1. I tested with a jumper and then replaced the pin when I confirmed it worked. Everyone I've read who tried this says it works

@@CASPERMOB If you mean the stock halogens, the difference is specifically that because these bring LED's. If you mean Difference from high and low beams on the front headlights, then the difference is the wattage they can withstand or receive from the car's electrical system. BTW I'm not a mechanic so if anyone who knows more about the subject wants to ratify or debunk my answer, you're very welcome to.
Did you just let the relays for the outer lights hang between the trunk liner and the tail light? Also, have you checked to see how hot the relays get? Mine are extremely hot!
I got the red with the smoke look, there are some blacked out ones but I didn't like those. I left the link in the description for the exact ones I got.
@@Boot_14what he's saying is that he didn't seem to connect the bottom right, aka the right side outer lights, to the rest of the wiring. Basically it seems like the outer right lights wouldn't work because he didn't connect them in the video. Maybe he skipped that part because in the end the right outer lights seem to be working but I'm not sure
@@inquizition9672 if I understand right, boot is saying that you only need to connect it down the left side. the left side is already hooked up to the right internally

@@madisonjay8384 i understand, the red wire that i had to run down the driver side hinge of the trunk it’s to give power (brake light) to both inner Taillights because the oem ones do not come with that feature. One long red wire is the one that connects to the driver side brake light wire on the outer taillight; and one smaller red wire that connects both inner taillights together. Hope i was able to explain it well. Any questions write again 👍🏼

Not sure if you still have this vehicle but did you ever experience any problems with the headlights? I've read people saying that the bulbs would get to hot and melt the housing.
Unfortunately i don’t have the car anymore, but i had no issues with overheating, i did use the LEDs with the fan in the back to help dissipate the heat.
Just bought headlights and the bulbs for my 2015 Jetta tdi does everything come with the headlights like the adapter and do I have to do additional wiring ?
There are adjustment screws, I think they are a gold color...put screwdriver in and turn until the beam is where u want it.......the up n down screw is the far left and far right screw....check vland website for locations
No i haven’t noticed any leaking on the car. You could try to check for a missing rubber seal. Or could try to put some waterproof silicone around the opening.
Unfortunately no because your year the tail lights in the trunk change and are smaller. I’ll see if i can fin some similar ones and if i do I’ll send you the link.
Hopefully you still reply, I installed these step by step like you did and I got a 02 Sensor code and Im not sure what I did wrong would you have a explanation?
@@AdonayLopez i’m getting water inside the trunk turn because my inner right taillight is not flush. it just won’t sit flush with the body. the left side is fine but this right side is giving me problems. the lights work fine but the fitment is bad. idk if it’s defective or what. i can’t return them because i’ve had them for over 6 months now

@@AdonayLopez ty bro , I have a question friend, I hope you can support me, I bought the vland kit, led with a red angel eye, my car is a 2016 jetta mk6, I already installed everything and activated the drl, and everything was fine, but the red eye does not light up , the seller says that this is a special function that my car must have .. but I don't know why it does not turn on if the drl is already activated in the computer and the white led bar if it turns on drl, only the red eye does not, you know how to activate it or what is the problem?
@@rdws.d8 unfortunately i haven’t heard of this issue. It must be a separate function like they say. You might be missing the pin in the oem conector that makes the red eye light up. Compare both the headlights plug and the one in your car to see if that is the problem. If it is you might have to create a bypass from the DRLs to the red eye to have it on at the same time. Wish i was there with you to help out more.

Are these smoked or red? Vland sells two different color versions of the taillights.

Right side connects with left and then the second red on the left corner connects down to the other red right under

I think that vw change the lights for that year but you can check if land have them for 2015 on their page

Not at all, if you are getting water inside cheek is the rear seal is install and also make sure the tail lights are fully tightened.

they did come out looking decent! one thing you should check out if you ever get sick of those headlights is the ones off the 30th GLI!

Unfortunately the only current solution it’s an adapter. Best thing to try is to contact the seller and see if they have the adapter.
Did installing the tail lights throw any lights/errors on the dashboard?
It actually does because the system is not designed for LEDs but the error light goes away after the car turns off until you turn the lights back on.

No all cars come with it your can be simply unplugged in your trunk or it could be burned out.

The ones I bought didn’t come with the led bulb for the low and high beam, but thats the only one that I had to buy.

The DRL integrated with the headlights are always on day and night and no programming required.
@@AdonayLopez ty bro , I have a question friend, I hope you can support me, I bought the vland kit, led with a red angel eye, my car is a 2016 jetta mk6, I already installed everything and activated the drl, and everything was fine, but the red eye does not light up , the seller says that this is a special function that my car must have .. but I don't know why it does not turn on if the drl is already activated in the computer and the white led bar if it turns on drl, only the red eye does not, you know how to activate it or what is the problem?
@@rdws.d8 unfortunately i haven’t heard of this issue. It must be a separate function like they say. You might be missing the pin in the oem conector that makes the red eye light up. Compare both the headlights plug and the one in your car to see if that is the problem. If it is you might have to create a bypass from the DRLs to the red eye to have it on at the same time. Wish i was there with you to help out more.
