Thanks so much for all these videos. I have the identical truck landing in Alberta in October, and your videos have been super helpful. As you know, the TRD off road in the US is slightly differently than what we get here in the great white north. Have you considered leather wrapping your seats? I have two little kids and that grey cloth will be black pretty quickly. Keep the great content coming. Thanks!
Thanks very much. Im a very stock kinda guy so I don’t think I’ll be leather wrapping but I appreciate the advice. I plan on using this truck and keeping it for years, all the dirt, dings and dents will be stories along the way. Thanks again for the kind comments. You will love the truck, the 10speed is my favourite part, effortlessly goes through all gears and there is always just the right one there when you want it. Love the powertrain.
Very nice truck! I agree with you regarding towing and half tons. For daily driving and smaller trailers I always use my Tacoma. For bigger loads, 8000 pounds and up, I use my 2012 Tundra. I have never adjusted well to the size of full size trucks, am more confortable in a smaller vehicle. I also prefer the manual trans in my Tacoma, would have bought a Tundra with one if it was offered.
pretty stupid of Toyota deleting front tow hooks , probably the only pick up in the world without tow hooks . I have been researching the new tundra , i currently lease a 2021 F150 Lariat 502a package , i have a little over a year left on my agreement . Recently i decided to look at Nissan and Toyota trucks , i like the Titan but they are no longer available in the Great White North , so my next hunt was for the Tundra , cant seem to find any . i do like the Tundra and i cant understand why Toyota would delete tow hooks . , the engine on the tundra is nice all though it doesnt have the power of the 3.5 on my Lariat , but that wouldnt stop me from purchasing the Tundra , we tow a 23ft Rockwood camper with the F150 and there is no issue . I have almost a year on my lease and i will use that time to research and try to find a suitable Tundra , if not i will stay with the F150 ...cheers ,and enjoy your new truck.
Thanks so much! We love them and have had the breed for over 10 years now, our youngest is Mac a blue puppy and Ruby is our red and is about 10 years old. Love the breed
That is what I thought. I went to two dealerahips in Ontario and they both told me 8000 lbs. They said that it is what they see online. I called even Toyota dealerships head office and they told me the same. The brochure that they have online clearly writes 11000+ lbs. I told this to head office people and they said that brochure could be wrong. Could you please let me know your dealership info? I will try to get my truck from there. Thanks.
@@greatbrickcreations3904 I can’t believe that any Toyota dealer rep would not know the towing capacity of their full sized truck! That’s embarrassing. The Tacoma is only good for about 7000lbs but the tundra is much higher. They even developed this truck for smooth and comfortable towing. Now payload will deplete the tongue weight of a trailer if you have lots in the truck. My payload is about 1400 lbs. watch any tundra video and they will talk about towing, chief engineer mike swears even talks at length about it. I’ll see if I can send you some links

We have same color and mine got upgraded infotainment 14 inch screen with 360 camera with softex seats.. the side steps comes standard or you installed it aftermarket?
Just got my tundra and I love it also
Congratulations! What colour and trim did you choose?

Can you do an interior video! Love the videos!
I’m sorry I just saw your comment now! Sure I’ll do more interior stuff this weekend, if your still interested
Great video. Do you mind sending me the link for your front wind deflector? Haven't been able to find it on my end. Take care and thanks for the help.
Thanks very much. I got my bug deflector right from the Toyota dealer. They threw in they and the black tundra letters on the tailgate. Thanks again
Good looking truck. What size of the new tire..
Pretty sure I went with a 275/65r18
Hey, I love your truck. Just wanted to know towing capacity on this trim?
Thanks for the comment. My trim is good to tow 11400lbs

I added the Toyota running boards
@@yotasandkubotas3118 cool… when you installed do you to torque it? I’m planning to install it by myself, I don’t have a torquing wrench tho
@@bwset69 no I just tightened them well, the bolts are already in the frame of the truck you just reuse them to put the running boards on
@@yotasandkubotas3118 thanks for the info
