Thank you for sharing these videos, your knowledge is a great help. I passed my PDA at Kelmscott on my first attempt! ✨ I watched your videos non stop 2 days before my test to have it all fresh in my mind. Good luck for everyone how’s doing their test!
You are most welcome, glad it helped! Good luck tomorrow. Quick advice: drive at least about an hour before your test because of potential roadworks, and good warm-up lesson is always recommended. Cheers!
I just finished my session, and passed on my first attempt. This video and some other videos of yours helped me a lot. Thanks a lot and keep up the good work.
Unfortunately l, the reality in Perth the assessors trick you all the time. If they don't like your face if they're having a bad day they going to fail you. You have to pay attention and do not expect a professional behavior all the time especially if you're immigrant. I hope they put camera or 3 people in the car to protect the drivers . Too much money with failures
@@katchreinberger6601 This is true. My first attempt was I feel racism, he also thought I’m immigrant, when I said im Australian Citizen I can see he was surprised

@@daisysummers3184 Hi, I recommend you try to drive around the area a day to the test day and then in the morning before the test. Try not to be nervous too ( it’s not easy lol). Personally non peak hours is best. All the best

Hi Steve, just popping to say a massive thank you for all the hardwork you put in these videos. I've passed yesterday at kelmscott and I've learned so much from you prior to my test. You're a great teacher! Keep up the good work.
@DrivingSchoolWA Thanks again Steve for sharing this! Very informative video! I couldn't agree more with you about Railway crossings! I actually had a quite a close call going through one of those on Welshpool road near where I live, It was a situation where I kept the area completely clear and only crossed the zone as I knew it was safe to cross looked both ways to be sure did the right thing but as I was crossing I remember a commodore also barged his way in and overtook me the driver didnt even indicate either as i was driving across the yellow keep clear zone of the railway crossing, actually had a decent fright!
I know, I see it all the time. Different level crossing story: about 6 years ago, a P plater in Melbourne had to flee his car when he got stuck in the middle (a truck in front of him broke down, couldn't clear the yellw zone) and his car got distroyed by the oncoming train. By the wasy the one on Welshpool Road is a bit tricky because of traffic lights that can give you false sense of safety when proceeding
@@DrivingSchoolWA yeah it's a very poorly designed intersection/railway crossing that one I actually remember my first time going through it I was like what the hell?! Why would they do that? Stupid design that is 🤣 they should actually ditch the traffic lights and put either give way stop signs there
Hi, I just failed me PDA today with one of the crosses being for flow because I apparently looked down at my controls in a manual car. I cannot remember the reason for looking at them but I definitely know what gear I’m in without looking. Are we supposed to just avoid looking at the gear stick at all? Thanks
Sorry to hear that. If that was the only thing I thik the assessor was a bit harsh. RE lookingt the gear stick: it depends for how long. Besides, it's in your peripheral vision , so we see it all the time. If it wasn't longer than a second (a quick glance) it shouldn't be a big deal to be honest. Good luck next time, and thanks for sharing
@@DrivingSchoolWA thanks for clearing that up. I also received another comment for vehicle management saying “Steering and gear/clutch/brake error - Moving off - Labours engine”. What exactly does this mean?
I did a mock exam in kelmscott and I passed and did everything well, but at the end of the test, when I was turning right into the kelmscott driving centre I was waiting in the middle of the road at the white line and I saw a pedestrian standing at the pathway wanting to cross but they saw me and waved to tell me to go, I thought pedestrians have priority so I stopped to give way but the person kept waiting so I went ahead. Instructor told me later that I failed for doing a major mistake which was giving way to a pedestrian where there wasn’t a pedestrian crossing. Can you please clarify when you are supposed to give way to pedestrians please? Thanks.
Hi, I have my PDA this Friday and I am watching all your videos carefully, I have a question on railways, you said to make sure not to commit unless u see the other car had crossed the yellow line, now my question is what if the other car is still in the middle of the yellow lines and I’ve already reached the white unbroken like, can I stop there and wait for the other car to pass the yellow lines fully or should I slowly keep moving.?
Log in between 10 AM and 5 PM Monday to Friday and keep refreshing the search button. That's your best chance to book one in. Let us know how you go Cheers
Could you please clear my doubt herr. There was round about driver was in left lane and left lane says turn left and straight but driver turn right. Isnt wrong??
@DrivingSchoolWA I think if you can do it do a video specifically how to cross that dodgy and tricky T junction on Railway Avenue and Armadale road where the railway crossing is
They are the hardest centre to get a test at due to their highest passing rate and I really don’t want to go to the other centres since I was so close to passing here and failed by 4 points whilst the others failed me immediately on the spot 😢
Is the same route followed still? Are there any changes taken place? I am going to take part in coming Monday. Thank you for your videos, helped me a lot..
They have a button on their I Assess sofware that selects *Steering and gear/clutch/brake error* Labours engine means that you kept it in the low gear for too long. Most commonly people move off and laeve in 1st gear for too long, especially in Exercise left something behind
@@DrivingSchoolWA that’s good to hear. So basically they aren’t to fussed if you accidentally rev slightly when moving off from stationary position due to much gas and wrong amount of clutch release?
I was in shock with the test system in Australia someone need investigate what happening. All the time they create some crazy rules.... nothing about the learner book so where you can find this rules? Many complains about rides assessors behavior....they have too much power without any control...and we cannot record or have someone in the car.

The assessors dont mark flow for 50 on gillam drive there because of the lack of 60 signs, theyve been advised not to
I know someone who failed for going over 50 when they turned onto Gillam out of the DOT so it used to be 50.
@JulieKennedy-po7ly its never been 50, so possibly they left out the back entrance where that road is 50
