I'll do my best to build up Adam's confidence >> proceed to name the video "This is the worst mock test I’ve ever done". Jk the clickbait worked on me and I'm just disappointed that it wasn't really bad.
He failed this mock test but recognized his faults pretty quick which is really good.
He shouldn’t be so hard on himself, I’ve seen much worst driving, hope his real test goes well

@@democracyforall No, only people who really struggle with manuals should go automatic. Even if you think you will just buy automatics, you never know when a job or emergency might need you to drive a manual. He was fine once he got used to the car, other than being in the wrong gear once.

Lovely attitude, cross fingers for him. My lesson before the test I passed was awful, probably one of the worse ones, to the point my instructor was really worried. Plus I wasn't sure if I had failed at the start, but kept trying my best in case I hadn't.

Question. I've watched a few of these now and noticed that students often take both hands of the wheel when stopped at traffic lights or give way lines when the car is in gear and being held on the foot break. Is this now established practice? When I passed my test it was definitely seen as a fault.
It is hard to drive a different vehicle for the first time 🤬, i still hate driving vehicles for the first time 😬

at 6:38 , How should one approach the right turn? I feel the road was narrower than usual junctions hence likely that you will come in way of oncoming vehicles
his braking problem was the fact he out the clutch in so early unfortunately. i used to make the same mistake! most of the braking should be done without the clutch and put in the clutch right before u fully come to a stop :)
One thing i noticed was the jordans, I would suggest a more flat footed shoe for using the pedals. hope he does well tho
Can someone please explain the fault at 11:17 - what does he mean by turn right and why would the right hand lane be the correct one?
if you look at the sign approaching the 2nd exit is really far found so you need to be in the far right lane
i just did my very first mock test today and was really disappointed with myself. 2 serious faults!!! However seeing this video made me feel better because my test isnt till august so i still have enough time to improve. In all fairness tho it is stressful being filmed and doing a mock.
It's a very smooth car he says even though he's had it bouncing all over the place 😂 it's all a learning curve
It's good that he recognised most of his faults as soon as he did them, really shouldn't be making those sort of faults 2 days before a real test 25 hours of lessons isn't a lot and it shows , he isn't far off but not test ready
My instructor has an electronic handbrake but it won’t release unless you have the bite so we set the gas first in her car then get bite to move off, I thought all electronic handbrakes would be the same…the more you know! 😅
Also her handbrake is probably the reason I’m shit on hills in other cars because it’s literally impossible to roll back in hers😂

Why do new cars have complicated steps to turn it on? My old 2005 car is just turn the key and off I go.
I hope for the sake of him having the same first name that Adam passed his test two days later. So many mistakes that are not teachable, it hust comes down to experience. Would love to know how he done but im not a betting man 😂
Please do not sit at traffic lights with the clutch down and car in gear. Causes excessive wear to clutch mechanism and particularly on some Vauxhall engines probably causes crankshaft endfloat bearing wear. There is plenty of tine whilst the red/amber light is on to engage first gear and move on the green light

Well not too bad driving wise considering the serious points Adam collected. Unfortunately most of the serious faults were for basic positioning and gears.

The wrong gear ( think it is 2 but it is 4), he did that more than one times, I was wondering why he used 4 gear when he was peparing to slow down or stop.

Haven't watched vid yet but bro I drove absolute d*gshit before my test (~1 year no manual, busy driving electric with regen braking which I don't recommend), and still passed with 2 minors.
Funny thing as well is I drove the best on my first "refresher" lesson than the next two leading up to the test😂😅

Anyone who watches the videos, is going to know that if you do a mock test. We are going to see the good the bad and the ugly. There's much worse people on the road with a full licence the learners "generally" are better than some!

Seriously though.. if you think to yourself on the test I know that.. “X” caused a fail. Do NOT pack it in, carry on. Don’t say to the examiner “I know I’ve failed” but let them know you’re feeling overwhelmed etc and a good examiner will talk and help you relax and focus.

I'm 40 and currently hate the job I've had now for almost 7 years. The first five years were fine but then I've had to endure a new and awful boss in the past year and a half which has made life extremely difficult and depressing. I've just been assigned to very meaningless tasks and relatively basic admin work. My job was never that high level but this boss is micro managing, obsessed with minor details, never stops working, poor communicator, occasionally scapegoat you, far too corporate minded.
Anyway, what are my options at this age? I've never had a clue what to do with my life and perhaps I never will but I just need to get out of my current situation for now. At the same time I can't just quit, I need something to move onto but I have no vocational qualifications. The only other option is starting a business I guess but have zero business skills or knowledge

I've my test in just over 2 weeks. Done a mock last week and only got one serious no minors (forgot to stop at a junction 🫣)
