I'll do my best to build up Adam's confidence >> proceed to name the video "This is the worst mock test I’ve ever done". Jk the clickbait worked on me and I'm just disappointed that it wasn't really bad.
@@Dailymailnewz No, only people who really struggle with manuals should go automatic. Even if you think you will just buy automatics, you never know when a job or emergency might need you to drive a manual. He was fine once he got used to the car, other than being in the wrong gear once.
Lovely attitude, cross fingers for him. My lesson before the test I passed was awful, probably one of the worse ones, to the point my instructor was really worried. Plus I wasn't sure if I had failed at the start, but kept trying my best in case I hadn't.
Me too. My lesson the day before and couple hours before my actual test was ridiculous lol to the point I thought I should cancel it. Luckily I didn’t and held faith and I passed it thank God. Well done for passing 🎉
I had the absolute same situation I was even online a couple days before hand contemplating re arranging my test glad I didn’t I ended up passing with only 5 minors
I just passed my test today first time with 0 minors, your videos helped me out so much I really appreciate it, now I can finally be part of the passed but still watching crew.
Just passing by to say that I was watching this video last night. Today I passed my driving test on the 5th attempt at the ripe old age of 38 years old. If you are currently in the same process and watching videos to hype yourself up, please believe me that it is possible. My leg shaked on the clutch even now on my 5th attempt, and I had a major freakout yesterday that I'm never gonna pass, it's just not in me. :) Remember, confidence doesn't come from succes, confidence comes from overcoming failure. You got this!
I always enjoy watching Pin's videos in the last couple of years❤it's always informative although I have a driving license it's still fun to watch 😅Sending love from Botswana
Don’t know if they’ve changed it but I failed me first test in 2022 for not applying my handbrake at a stop junction 10:10, I was fully stopped as there was a set of temp traffic lights on the road we joined, so don’t know if it examiners discretion but just a little tip I suppose
Please do not sit at traffic lights with the clutch down and car in gear. Causes excessive wear to clutch mechanism and particularly on some Vauxhall engines probably causes crankshaft endfloat bearing wear. There is plenty of tine whilst the red/amber light is on to engage first gear and move on the green light
at 6:38 , How should one approach the right turn? I feel the road was narrower than usual junctions hence likely that you will come in way of oncoming vehicles
Hi dgn, passed my driving test today. Just wanted to say a huge thanks for all the video uploads which have helped many in acing their driving test and me as well today. Keep up the great work 😊
I would prob struggle with this car aswell I struggle with the clutch as it is. Can’t imagine how confusing it is for people stepping into the car for the first time and struggle with everything. I went from one instructor to someone else and the new guys break was very sensitive. I remember I would press it and had to always apologise because I’d push it too hard but I’d struggle in this car totally 100%
i passed my exam last week, but i had a real bad day the week before that. i blame it on the rain but my concentration was completely off, i misjudged the right of way several times, didnt see street signs, didnt see a cyclist... that was thankfully the worst day ive had.
I was terrible at 25 hours ! Nowhere near enough ready. I had 60 hours professional lessons and still failed the first time round. ( passed second.) You’d have to be a real natural at it to pass after only 25 hours.
his braking problem was the fact he out the clutch in so early unfortunately. i used to make the same mistake! most of the braking should be done without the clutch and put in the clutch right before u fully come to a stop :)
Well not too bad driving wise considering the serious points Adam collected. Unfortunately most of the serious faults were for basic positioning and gears.
Question. I've watched a few of these now and noticed that students often take both hands of the wheel when stopped at traffic lights or give way lines when the car is in gear and being held on the foot break. Is this now established practice? When I passed my test it was definitely seen as a fault.
Just a question if someone parks in front of the bus stop it is usually an Amber would it be serious if they blocked a Bus and forced it to unload in the road or would you move them if you saw the bus coming. Only asking as I was on the bus the other day and someone parked in front of the bus stop and forced the bus to unload in the road due to it being a long single Decker that couldn't angle into the curb like a minibus could
It's good that he recognised most of his faults as soon as he did them, really shouldn't be making those sort of faults 2 days before a real test 25 hours of lessons isn't a lot and it shows , he isn't far off but not test ready
i just did my very first mock test today and was really disappointed with myself. 2 serious faults!!! However seeing this video made me feel better because my test isnt till august so i still have enough time to improve. In all fairness tho it is stressful being filmed and doing a mock.
My instructor has an electronic handbrake but it won’t release unless you have the bite so we set the gas first in her car then get bite to move off, I thought all electronic handbrakes would be the same…the more you know! 😅 Also her handbrake is probably the reason I’m shit on hills in other cars because it’s literally impossible to roll back in hers😂
The wrong gear ( think it is 2 but it is 4), he did that more than one times, I was wondering why he used 4 gear when he was peparing to slow down or stop.
What’s the most popular manoeuvre in a test? I did reverse bay park, I didn’t do an emergency stop. I think Derby traffic is too busy….. Pin what’s your new car? I’d be stalling left right and centre 😂
Anyone who watches the videos, is going to know that if you do a mock test. We are going to see the good the bad and the ugly. There's much worse people on the road with a full licence the learners "generally" are better than some!
I hope for the sake of him having the same first name that Adam passed his test two days later. So many mistakes that are not teachable, it hust comes down to experience. Would love to know how he done but im not a betting man 😂
Just to confirm it was Adam that said “This is the worst mock test I’ve ever done”
He’s obviously not the worst driver we’ve had on the channel 😂

He failed this mock test but recognized his faults pretty quick which is really good.
He shouldn’t be so hard on himself, I’ve seen much worst driving, hope his real test goes well
He should have been on automatic it would not have been that bad...

Having the clutch all the way down doesn't cause wear.

Why don't people use the handbrake when they stop? It's so much easier to find the bite point and move off again

my driving school taught us to use the handbrake when moving off from a slope
Stalling in a junction is a canon event
Can someone please explain the fault at 11:17 - what does he mean by turn right and why would the right hand lane be the correct one?
if you look at the sign approaching the 2nd exit is really far found so you need to be in the far right lane
It's good that he recognised most of his faults as soon as he did them, really shouldn't be making those sort of faults 2 days before a real test 25 hours of lessons isn't a lot and it shows , he isn't far off but not test ready
