excellent stuff mate. Possibly going to do Boston 24 for my first marathon so I have stumbled across your video. To do sub 3:45 in your 60s is some achievement mate, kudos!
Thanks Kingy, I was really over the moon with my time at Boston UK. I actually got a QT for Boston Marathon in USA which I did in April this year. I might do Boston Marathon UK again in 24 too. Thanks for watching the video 👍
Well done Kev, awesome run and time, so pleased you did it. Looks a very scenic one to run on quiet lanes with good weather and great support at the finish too. Enjoyed the video, thought you got the updates just right through the run, and seeing you overtake people built the anticipation of whether you could keep going to that great time.
Cheers Tom I was more prepared for this marathon than I was London. I think I got my pacing just right. My mile splits were pretty constant until the last 4 miles. Really enjoyed it. Thanks so much for your great comments ,& observations mate, really appreciate it 👍👏
Hi, do they have gels at the water stations? Are they every 5 miles. & is there a bag drop off in the market square or the park near the start? I'll be taking some gels but good to know more info ahead of the day. I'll probably park car at cinema carpark short walk. Thanks 😊👍🏼
I took my own gels so not sure . I know the water stations were pretty frequent but unsure of the distance between each sorry. Yes when I did it there was bag drop in the Park. Good Luck. Im doing the 10K this year.
