      4:35. I think the footage is repeated by mistake. :)
      But great snacks. Can't wait to try them. With local substitutes, of course. It's hard to find celery and cranberries here in India.

      when i used to eat chips dill pickle variety were my favourite. Because then no-one else in the house would eat them haha and I had the bag all to myself. They are so good. Now I want some :) Thanks for a wonderful video Sadia. I think I'm going to try the energy balls first.

    I am not a vegan myself but i love your videos so much because you make veganism look so accessible and easy, when most of the time i tend to think its tricky and expensive to make vegan food.

      It’s really anything but expensive! If you cook your food from scratch it’s a lot cheaper than any food containing meat. 😊

      I'm also not a vegan, but I find myself eating more and more vegan food. I basically stopped cooking any meat, fish or dairy at home. There's so much vegan food to try, and it's cheaper too.

      don't forget you save a lot of money not buying meat/fish... so you can spend easily some of that on the ingredients, even in winter in Europe/Germany i save aprox. 20% and eat healthy... and mostly bio/organic grade foods

    I never know what herbs to add to meals. Like what will dill do for this flavoring? Can you make a video all about herbs and what taste/flavor they could add to your meal?

    • @samanthagalvan3791
      @samanthagalvan3791 6 ปีที่แล้ว +67

      Hannah Boyd Hi, I struggled with this for a while and a trick I used to help me learn what spices would pair well with what I was cooking was to smell them! I found if I liked the way certain foods smelled together, I usually enjoyed how well they taste together also (:

    • @viluriian
      @viluriian 6 ปีที่แล้ว +27

      Dill always reminds me of home 😅, it‘s very common in slavic kitchen, so maybe you can pull some inspiration from there?
      Also it goes really good with most fish dishes or in soups and (creamy) sauces.
      It tastes fresh and „foresty“, so goes well with red meats and mushrooms, too.

      I copy things from restaurants. These Tahini recipes seem Mediterranean so I'd watch some vids on classics like gyro and note spices. Yogurt, dill, onion, etc seem repeated. It will help with getting ideas. :)

    I did the 7 day Vegan challenge, and its 2? weeks later now and I think I'll just continue it. My whole life I have had stomach issues and since I only eat Vegan I haven't had any pain. I was vegetarian for more than 2 years now, and barely ate cheese or eggs, but apperently it makes a difference for my body.

    Sadia can I just say how beautifully esthetic your videos are . We have been in a plant based journey for a year now and wouldn’t go back to the way we are before . During this year I have pored over just about every vegan website , channel, bought multiple books , but always come back to your channels because of the beauty and simplicity and deliciousness. You truly have a gift that the Lord God has given to you . Please keep up the wonderful work. And I thank you.

      @carter...apollo147 6 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Hi!! I’ve been vegan for almost two months and my biggest advice for both of you if you’re planning on going full vegan is to make sure you know where your nutrients are coming from. It’s easy to eat vegan but you really have to know how to take care of yourself because we’re at greater risk for nutrient deficiencies. Make sure to take a B12 supplement (and maybe vitamin D if you don’t live in a sunny climate) and know the plant-based sources of omega-3 so you can continue enjoying a vegan lifestyle without any health problems :D 💕

      Marty Sims Where there’s a will, there’s a way. I recommend to all who are looking to become vegan to watch the following documentaries:
      - “What the Health” on Netflix or youtube (th-cam.com/video/_Sic3O1iHvA/w-d-xo.html)
      - “Cowspiracy” on Netflix or youtube (th-cam.com/video/JyTFZefMvZ8/w-d-xo.html)
      - “Earthlings” on Netflix or youtube (th-cam.com/video/BrlBSuuy50Y/w-d-xo.html)
      I guarantee if you watch all three documentaries, you will be filled with so much motivation that being vegan will seem easier than ever.

    Thanks! I watched this video just after finishing my own bowl of popcorn. I found a way arround the honey/oil dilemma by using squeezed lemon juice heated with stevia and cinnamon. I dont pour the mix over the popcorn, i mix the pre-popped popcorn into the pan where i´ve heated the lemon juice and give it a mix while the fire is still on.

    How ironic is it that I was sitting here enjoying oolong tea and an energy ball while watching this video. They are a combo of hemp seeds, all natural almond and peanut butter, oats, unsweetened cocoa powder and coconut flakes. I rolled the balls in hemp seeds. Delicious! Great video as always!

    Sadia, all of these recipes are awesome! We're leaving in three days for a cross country adventure for 3-4 months ( yup we're retired) and we are always trying to improve our healthy living lifestyle. While we recently forfeited snacking to reduce unhealthy eating habits,M these recipes are perfect to try on our trip. I'm guessing each recipe could be used as a light lunch or packed for roadside picnic. Thanks again! BTW, salted vinegar chips are a former addiction and can be found in most of the lower 48.

    There are dill pickle flavored potato chips here in Florida...my absolute fav! But I learned a hack from High Carb Hannah...air fry your chips and spray with a spritz of dill pickle juice! I haven't tried it yet, but the thought makes my mouth water!

    Thank you so much, I am always on the look out for more vegetarian/vegan sandwich fillings!!! Most of mine revolve around avocado, but your chickpea dip looks amazing and gives me some ideas of my own! Cannot wait to try it.
