  • In the final construction video for Luna Lapin by machine, I show you how to attach the arms. I've used buttons to embelish the finished arms and I show you how to attach them too.
    Finally I use Prym Fray Check liquid to add extra security to the arm and eye threads, but please be careful with this liquid as it does run the risk of catching you out and ruining your fabric bunny. So please be careful and feel free to skip this step if you don't want the risk. I'll pop a link to the liquid and doll needles below.
    Congratulations - you have finished making Luna Lapin! Well done everyone. I'd love to hear your experiences of using these videos to assist you in sewing Luna so please feel free to comment below and share your thoughts. A 'like' on the video is also good feedback and if you subscribe to my channel you will be notified of my video uploads as they happen. It also gives me a lovely boost when I gain new subscribers. Thank you for watching and have a great day!
    The books containing the patterns for Luna and friends, felt and other supplies plus character kits and supplies are available directly from the designer and the home of Luna at www.coolcrafting.co.uk

      Hi, if you mean the pink fluffy jumper that my Luna is wearing with her dungarees, it's the Ballet Wrap Cardigan that you can get in a kit from Cool Crafting. There is a kit opening video on my channel that you can watch for the whole outfit. Have a great day! 🥰

      Hi, thank you very much for your kind words, I'm so pleased that you've made a Luna that you are proud of and I hope you choose to make many more. There are also some videos on how to make the clothes, all with the same level of detail, so I hope you also enjoy watching those. All the skills you learn whilst making Luna and her clothes are directly transferable to making full sized clothing for adults or children so I hope that I can inspire you to have a go at those in time. Thank you for watching and happy stitching! 🥰

      Hi, yes, clothing tutorials are going to be featured in the coming weeks. I have a few life things to take care of before Easter and then I'll be back on it again! I may even squeeze in a dress or two before then and the PJ's are on my list. The good news is that all the skills you learn making Luna's clothes are directly useable for children's or adult clothing too. What was the glue you used on the buttons please

    • @ClaireEngland1
      @ClaireEngland1  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Maureen, thank you for watching, olí hope you found the video useful. The liquid I put on the buttons is called Prym Fray Check. There are other brands available. Be careful not to get it anywhere except where you want it as it will not come off. It sets the fibres and reduces fraying of the fabric. Just use a little as it can set quite hard and that can spoil a garment depending on the type of garment and fabric. Happy stitching! 🥰
