I love this weapon, and the fact that it can be buffed makes it top tier. You didn't mention the dual wielding though. Dual wielding great spears is super meta, and all the try hards use it lol. The roll catch and poise damage is crazy.
Recently discovered this weapon and love it! I am not a pvp guy, but found it does super well in most scenarios. Late game may be an issue with all those holy resistant bosses, but poise and reach and buffability make this thing shine both literally and figuratively
I love this weapon. I'm using it at the moment on my first playthrough. Currently at +20 upgraded, it's a beast. Plus it can be picked up very early in the game before killing anything if you know where it is.

The heavy is gnarly . . . Hard to even see it sometimes from the side rolls and whatnot.
