It's a good point that you have a groovy bassline. But the point is the bass/sound you use. Because if you're gonna slide, or pitch bend with a sine wave, or a smooth bass, the groove is gonna be powerful, if the bass is crunch and harsh, it's might work, but not as groovy as the higher frequencies are also sliding, so it ends up clashing with one another. Basically, all of Robbie Mendez songs and using more like 'siney bass'. Good job man...
Questions: 1.What happens next after a label accepts your track? 2.Do you just simply sign the contract or do you go through with it with a lawyer? 3.How do i sign electronic forms of contracts? 4.What are the usual forms(splits between artist and label and those things) of contracts?
When a label accepts your stack, they ask you for the different renders of the the track, Radio and Extended, in MP3 and WAV. Then they send you a contract that you're supposed to read, sign and send back. Mostly the contract contains the terms about the copyright, date of release, the royalty split between the producer and the label and other legal stuff. Once you sign it and send it back along with the audio files, the label sends you the release package which contains the artwork, links, audio files and, depending on the label, a promotional video. After that you just have to relax and marker your release. The label releases it on the given day.
This is awsome. Can you do an episode on groove, like what kind of samples one should go for, etc.😅 that would be helpful. Your short tutorial help me alot. 😄
Great video once again man. Learning a lot through these. What about vocal chop drops? I’m finding it hard to work out a solid drop with vocal chops, if you could do a video on that would be great help but I will apply what I’ve learnt here into my own production to see if it helps my problem thank you 🙏🏻
