This is how we need to move from now on, diversity! We can't learn trap beats all the time. Thanks Kyle much love to you! Even tm88 been making 80's beats.
I will say as a producer who LOVES this genre this is an excellent tutorial. Major takeaway for everyone watching: I think starting with drums vs chords is a better route because in the end once u start layering keys you'll know when the record is full ---but when u do it the inverse way u may find yourself reproducing more music to fit the drums you've added
Kyle, that's awesome. You know what's missing in the music industry these days? Creativity. The executives run the show today and all they want is a "formula" to make money. The future of music is on the internet with artists like you. Great work.
This Tutorial is quality Production and out of this world creatively... thanks and shout out brother all the way from South Africa I'm definitely subscribing and following your Channel super dope work brother
I'm also so glad they added the crossfade. Upgraded to FL21 yesterday and it change my workflow a bit. Easier to get a natural sounding ending of a track after bouncing without too much automation.
I just love this - I've been getting more inspired by playing direct into the DAW with audio on a hardware synth rather than messing about with MIDI - wasn't sure if I was on the right path, but watching you absolutely boss this beat has got me so inspired! Thank you!
this guy is my spirit animal. as a fellow musician I am super proud of you, I love the rizz on your video, and it was really informal at the same time. Great personality, great tutorial simplified and overall interesting and entertaining. The icing on the cake was the groovy shades. Stay groovy!!!!!
YOU ARE THE GROOVE MASTER!!! I've been looking for a tutorial like this for YEARS! Insta sub!! Time to binge watch and practice from your channel!! I've been dying to make a successful jazz/funk/pop/groovy song forever now! Thank you!
i find that one doesnt always find quality these days, however, i must say as, this is a straight to the point no nonsense tutorial which is exemplary of groovy.
subbed immediatly with the intro i need to create this music instead of trap for almost 8 years thank you bro make more guides more more more more i will learn from you NOW
I’m glad I kept watching and had an open mind!!! I thought it was going to be another drawing notes in until you started playing and then I kept watching!!! Dope vibe btw 🔥🔥🔥 and I just sub your channel!!!
Great video! Not sure about using the 'lately bass'. As much as it caught the late 80s, it was primarily used in the early 90s, and has a club feel, and not really an earlier 80s sound, but hey, it's all good.
It’s about damn time someone in our gen knows how to groove. Do you have a public playlist of 80s type beats? Have some artists in the family trying to make some modern day bangers. Anything like ‘The Dude’ by Quincy Jones would be perfect
The work boyfriend vs you had me dying😂
😂 yeah that was genius analogy
Listen... as an actual 80s baby, i can put the stamp of approval on this beat. Sounds like it's 1986 in here 🔥
1984 id say lol
can't we get the real hardware they used back in the 80s to make these wonderful beats ?
It's a lot more expensive to use the old hardware and you get effectively the same sound
@@tunkunrunk Not worth it
Like Freddie Jackson or Glenn Jones. Cerified 1980s babe here.
This is how we need to move from now on, diversity! We can't learn trap beats all the time. Thanks Kyle much love to you! Even tm88 been making 80's beats.

What’s the benefit of playing direct to audio vs midi?
