The fact that this dog never growled or tried to bite anyone but only whimpered in pain makes this video even harder to watch. Thanks Vanessa for helping this poor dog!
It was very hard to watch Vanessa uncover the tiny body wrapped in so much matted hair to be unrecognizable. It made me sad and at the same time, furious that this was caused by human(s). Many thanks to Vanessa for coming to her rescue.
Vanessa you did such an amazing job on the matted dog.thank you for all your care to all animals. They are so lucky for your compassion and gentle care. Love watching your videos ty again
The whole "why aren't you wearing gloves" thing baffles me too. I am a germaphobe too and constantly wash my hands when handling raw meat or gardening, but I also understand most of that is a compulsive behavior.
any gloves she could wear to protect her would be too thick for this sensative work, and any that are thin enough would likely break very quickly around all the stuff she is doing. as long as your mindful of where your hands are going while doing this work a wash is really all thats needed and the bare hands are way better for it.
How swiftly I choked on your comment, dear friend. I'm no saint, but i did scold my last landlord before having my life turned upside down over a pet that went through hell at their hands. I've now barely dodged 6 months of living in such unfamiliar circumstances: housing, water, much else. God's miraculous guidance was outstanding. He saved me. We need to have humanity. Cheers
If it's a task where it's simply inconvenient to wear gloves (like food service or cleaning) I can understand the whole fuss about "Hey, you should wear gloves!" But this is a task where it's REQUIRED to leave gloves out, because being able to feel texture and skin is crucial to not making unfortunate mistakes and harming another creature. Dogs like Angel don't deserve any more pain.
Can you please keep us updated on this case? It would be so great to know how she is doing in the future! I hope she can one day feel the love of a forever home.
The little wag she gave after the second bath just broke my heart. Someone taught her to love people once, but then they just forgot about her. Thank you for the compassionate care you gave her.
Probably didn't forget, a lot of the people who end up neglecting dogs like this can't take care of themselves (because of old age, mental health, etc.), let alone their pets.
@@nikkiofthevalleyYOU NEED TO BE LOCKED UP i can’t believe you’re giving the benefit of the doubt, if they truly didn’t forget and actually loved the dog, they would’ve gave it away or at least set it free. Insane thinking. you have ero compassion. Why did they adopt the dog then??????? where is the critical thinking
@@eggzacly Eh? I don't think you understand how mental health works. It can get worse over time. Same with old age. You can start off being perfectly able to care for your pets, but slowly deteriorate and delude yourself into thinking you can still take care of them, that it'll just be one more day and you'll feed them, or clean them, or let them out for a walk. I've had depression (diagnosed from an actual therapist, not the Internet) before, I know how this stuff works.
@@eggzacly It's upsetting but, sometimes, nobody is at fault. It feels *right* to be able to find someone, something in the wrong but... sometimes there isn't. Certain situations are just sad all around. There's a number of possible situations that led to this video, and the most likely ones don't involve any malice whatsoever. Life is tough.
Vet here - I hope other groomers and animal protection agencies watch this video to understand the benefit of washing severely matted dogs to loosen the hair for clipping. Most groomers who do these types of grooms do not wash the matting, thinking it will make it worse, when in reality it helps greatly to reduce the pain of the groom and speed things up. Thank you Vanessa for having such a big heart and helping this lovely lady find her legs and begin the road to recovery.
Yeah, I guess that when mats are starting to form and there's still some loose hair around, making them is worse, but in these case of extreme matting? Water absolutely helps. And if access to soap and conditioner, even better. You can even soak in layers (like do the top, soak again, and so on).
@@NyaMoon_ Ooh -- I wanna know the answer to this one, too! I suspect dogs wouldn't be as susceptible to thrombosis, as their extremities aren't as long in relation to their bodies as humans', but I may be way off base. I'm looking forward to finding out.
Yes, this makes sense. The groomer mentioned the mats felt "like cardboard." Surely, when soaked in water, the mats would break down, just as cardboard and, more to the point, felt does when they're soaked in water.
Can't do a thing to change Angel's past. Can't see very far into her future. At this moment, she's warm, dry, fed, clean, and surrounded by loving hands and gentle voices. That's everything.
The shake Angel did at 30:04 is supernatural. A dog who, up until that moment had not been moving even to react to painful shaving and clipping, does something so simple as to shake water from herself. The feeling of freedom to be able to shake like this, finally moving after being motionless and hopeless for so long, going from laying in her own waste to shaking off water. It's beautiful. Life is worth living again for this dog and for we, who were able to see it.
Thank you for all you do for these animals as well! Vanessa's a miracle worker in many ways, and I'm so glad she can help you guys out, but the work the shelter staff does is not to be undervalued!
Having two people is so vital. Did you see the tech comforting her and petting her through the process?? Gosh. This is so unbelievably sad… no other words…
I agree, it is vital. The groomer could work while the vet kept the animal calm or sedated if necessary. Great teamwork on this rescue!! I couldn't tell there was a dog in there with all that matting!
The channel Man's Best Friend has a couple who perform this kind of groom mostly on stray dogs they/organizations rescue in Serbia, and you can absolutely see the teamwork needed. It started with just the man doing it by himself, then he brought in his friend (she's now his wife). Even if sometimes at first glance it might not seem like the partner is doing much, as you said that comfort and petting just helps the animal, which in turn helps the groom.
19 yrs ago, my husband rescued a little terrier mix that was chained out in the middle of a field with a wire embedded in her neck. Her hair was so matted that our vet had to sedate her. He shaved almost 10 lbs of matting off her little body. This video had me in tears, b/c of the memories it brought back. We lost our beautiful dog last mo.-but she was a wonderful member of our family for almost 2 decades. Hopefully, this sweet little dog will find a forever home too.
Angel certainly deserves her name. I feel beyond grateful and thankful that Angel is loved by her groomers here. What joy it brings me to see her being released from her captivity of long neglect. God bless you all.
Does Canada have laws about severe animal abuse? The condition of this poor dog is unconscionable. Like others commenting have said, I had tears in my eyes. Thank you to Vanessa, the vet and vet techs who helped this sweet girl, and whoever found and rescued her. 💞
I have tears of sorrow in my eyes thinking what this poor girl has been through, but also happy tears to see her walking at the end. Thanks for helping her.
@@aliciabolling7263 Yes, that's a TH-cam super thanks. That goes to Vanessa, or you can click the link in pinned comment to donate to her local Humane Society directly for Angel's care.
I saw this in the news this morning and recognized your grooming suit. I was so thankful that you were able to step in and help Angel when she needed it most. Thank you Girl with the Dogs and SPCA Niagara for all you do.
Someone in the video commented it is being investigated. It could be anything from a human without the capacity to understand, to someone unable to offer any care but refusing to let her go to another home. She definitely wasn't a stray, so someone used that as an excuse to get her help... and that's okay. She's being helped, and that is what's important now. The rest will be figured out
The little dog's patience and stoicism is evidence that she has sadly had long practice in silent endurance of suffering. It's so good that she is getting a chance at life. I hope she finds a loving forever home.
Hello Vanessa, thank you so much for accepting to groom this poor little Angel❤ You are such a great groomer and so knowledgeable! I hope Angel will find her forever loving home, as she so deserves. Please would you give us an update on how she is doing. I have made a donation to help and thank all involved. Helene
Omg. Poor thing. She was incredible during the grooming. I hope her tumours are benign and her future is filled with nothing but good things and happiness. Someone needs to be criminally charged for letting her get in that condition.
I've personally never done it; but I saw a groomer helping at a shelter have a quirky way of breaking down these types of mats. She puts the animal in a very warm, soapy bath (I honestly think she uses dawn dish soap) and then uses a waterproof percussion massager pressed against the mats and literally vibrates as much crud loose as possible. She said she got the idea from ultrasonic jewelry cleaners. It does, however, take two people. One to hold the animal still while the other isolates the mat and hits it with the percussion massager. She had a really nice water proof massager when I saw the process, but she started with just a cheap one that she put into one of those water-tight diving bags with the air sucked out.
Here I am, a grown as man, covered in snot and tears as I watch these two wonderful women save this wonderful sweet puppy’s life from years of misery and neglect, all thanks to the power of the internet and the love of millions of strangers. Life is funny.
I never comment on TH-cam videos, let alone give money, but here I am, donating and commenting. This one made me feel so profoundly sad for the neglect that Angel must have endured and I ugly cried. Thank you to Vanessa and the Niagara SPCA. Please keep us updated on this sweet (aptly named) Angel. 💜
This case really made me cry. How could anyone allow this poor little dog to suffer like that? You are amazing Vanessa for helping this poor little creature find her legs.
Same here. My daughter just walked by, and came rushing in asking, "Mom, what's wrong?" I told her about Angel, and she feels the same. We wish Angel the very best forever home possible. We both have senior furbabies, and we let everyone know that they are NOT spoiled, just loved very much. My little girl is 19, and my daughters big boy is 12.
the fact that you burned through 5 pairs of scissors and a clipper shows both how neglected the dog was, and the stoic resolve you have when doing this. the world may be harsh but you and the staff there are amazing reminders that there is kindness out there
Thank you so much for being such a wonderful person. I can't believe people would neglect a dog like this but you're the best of humanity for saving her and the tech is for keeping her soothed and comforted. I hope this goes towards supporting you and the animals you help. ❤
You all are the angels to help this precious girl. Thank you so much! My heart is broken to see such suffering. God bless you for your love and care. ❤
I am a 58 year old man watching this crying my eyes out. I am an owner of two small dogs and cannot believe how cruel people can be, it makes you wonder how they treat thier children. May a give you a big Hug for helping this poor dog out.......
Bawling my eyes out at the end. When you see just how small this sweet dog is. I am so happy Angel was able to be helped and you were able to be there.
I'm a retired UK dog groomer. I've been grooming all breeds during the 1960s through to 1990s. I've never seen matting like that before. You deserve a medal for your compassion, grooming skills and patience. Well done! What about the owners?!!! They are surely due some serious penalties for their cruelty. For that's what poor Angel has suffered. It's sickening. I hope she has her best life now she's free from her incarceration. These innocent creatures need people like you!! Thank You. I've shared this video.
And lets never forget the latest ny story where governor hochul went to the home of the man that rehabed peanut the squirrel and fred the racoon where she had her henchman take these animals/ pets and killed them... her staff probably abused peanut and it bit one of the animal control people. So they euthanized both pets and they didn't notify the owner or follow any proceedure..just took them. We New Yorkers are still waiting to see hochul brought up on charges of abuse, dereliction of duty, and animal cruelty. Im still having a hard time getting the details and outcome of this incident that i believe happened in November 2024. The NY administration has been showing it's true colors of neglect and abuse other than for terrorists the past 4 years plus but now they've turned to people's pets. No one is above the law.
As Mr. Rogers said, "Look for the helpers." You are super-professional throughout but I also love the woman who stands there and comforts that dog every minute of this procedure. Bless you all.
I teared up when I read your comment. How far we've all fallen. We need Mr Rogers and those like him in our lives to remind us to be kind to others, be kind to animals, and be a helper.
I am a surgeon am I must praise you on your technical skill. It is only surpassed by your devotion to making our world a better place particularly for those animals in dire need
Neglecting/abusing a dog is the greatest betrayal. We created them to be our companions, our guards, our friends. They evolved with us, more than any other animal. They love us unconditionally. Their loyalty is absolute. And yet there are people who would treat them with cruelty and indifference... Thank you for all you do, GWtD. What you do might not change the world, but it changes the world for that dog.
@@svenno9951Absolutely, but when it comes to animals that worked for us dogs are up there alongside horses and donkeys, while cats have always been treated entirely as pets or as pest control.
@ Yes, there are several other special animals. It just seems to me there is a bigger, but small segment of people who hate cats and can treat them very badly because they are small. Yes, dogs are mistreated too.
I watch your videos for a while. Every two days, my workmate and I say "Pani od piesków wrzuciła nowy film :)" (Dog lady uploaded a new video). You are so nice to these animals, even if they are not nice to you. You are doing such a good job. People like you are so special and so needed. It is good that this poor dog received help when she needed it the most.
This video was one of the most difficult to watch but also one of the most heartwarming to see that sweet pup finally get the love and care that she deserves.
I had to stop multiple times to take a break. But I was determined that if that sweet Angel could endure it, she deserved that I watch it. She is aptly named and deserved everything good in her future. Thank you Vanessa and everyone else for showing such care for her. Hopefully you've shown her not all humans are the monsters her previous captors are.
I subscribe to a couple of channels from European countries. All the animals are found abandoned and they help them get their hair cut back so they have a better chance at life.
How… how does anyone let a dog get to this state? It’s so sad. Thank you so much to everyone who helped this poor dog. Her cries were heartbreaking. Donated to Angel’s care too. After her treatment, I hope she finds a loving home that will only give her the best.
Not defending the owner or saying this is definitely the case but alot of old people have pets and just forget about them and stop feeding themselves and their pets
@ That’s maybe the only reason that could possibly be excused, but I wish more people would set up backup plans for their pets if they can’t be taken care of…
@EvaValenti My sister and I have had dogs, cats, turtles, parakeets, fish, gerbils, dwarf hamsters & sugar gliders in our families, but seeing as we're getting older now and our health isn't great, and as much as we both would love adding another fur baby to each of our homes we chose not to adopt anymore but to act as backup for friends and neighbors who would have kenneled their dog and cat family members while on vacation which works for us because we always took our pets with us anywhere. So we still have animals active in our lives but safely in our lives. I wish this girl finds a wonderful forever home and knows the love of family!
Sometimes I feel absolutely embarrassed to be a human being. How anyone could allow this to happen to a innocent dog is insanity. Thank you Vanessa, your a angel for these dogs.
I was thinking the same thing. How do I share species with this kind of human? Sometimes, I just feel such deep disgust. But look at angel now there's hope for her.❤❤❤
Exactly! This comment! A lot of people are giving the benefit of the doubt to the previous "owners", but we people who help animals in need have seen more of the evil side of humans. We deserve every awful thing we get as a species.
@@sylvia.s.s.I sincerely cannot give the benefit of the doubt to the previous owners. This is just awful cruelty through and through. I donate to a cat charity every month but I don't know how staff and volunteers steel themselves to it; my heart would break. I can only assume it's getting an animal happy and healthy that makes it all worthwhile.
Over 20 years as a vet tech in critical care/emergency service, I thought I’d seen some true horrors out of rural NC/SC, but damn, this was horrifying. Thank you for what you and the SPCA did for her. I would LOVE to see how she looks in 6 months after getting the love and good care she deserves!
I doubt she was used for breeding lately. Maybe at the beginning, but after a point she would not be able to breed or raise pups. All those infections would be passed on to her puppies. And I cannot imagine that anyone would buy puppies in such a poor condition. Also, too many puppies would die before they could be sold. A hoarder sounds more likely to me.
Agreed... also probably dumped after she was of no use for good people to find and rescue, also risking falling under suspicion for neglect... scummy all the way.
Those little whimpers just completely shattered my heart. First time that I cried during a pet grooming video...Thank you for helping her Vanessa, and thank you to the vet and the SPCA for staying with you during that time to keep her calm and help soothe her during the process. While her recovery is uncertain right now...at the very least she can walk again, and is probably being spoiled and loved by everyone around her.
I was a groomer for years, and saw some pretty bad matting. But that is definitely the worst case I have ever seen. Thank you for helping her, and please keep us updated.
She’s acting so gentle with all the stuff happening around her. My heart is breaking and I’m crying. How can anyone do this or let this happen to such innocent beings.
The people that did this to her need to go to prison for a very long time.(Assume it was on purpose ) Poor little girl. Thank you Vanessa and the SPCA for caring
Likely Angel's human(s) are in terrible shape themselves. This was not intentional. They likely lost the ability to care for themselves as well as for Angel. Someone loved this pup and feels terrible about the situation. I am praying for them and for dear little Angel. Please join me.
I had one come into my shop 2 years ago in the EXACT same condition….. She ended up being the MOST beautiful 2 year old standard poodle with the sweetest personality I’ve ever met in my 15 year grooming career. I felt honored to be the one to set her free ♥️🐾
I found my poodle mix on the road in bad condition. Covered in Fleas, matted hair, dehydrated, and would not eat or poo normal for weeks. I've had him 2 years now and he's the best dog I've had. Still suffers from skin allergies but we are working on tackling that. These dogs really appreciate rescuers and you can just tell their gratitude.
This video was so beautifully created, and your talent as a groomer is mind blowing. You are so gentle with this poor old dog and so compassionate you opened up a whole new world to her and stopped her suffering. Thank you for all you do for these beautiful creatures.
As heartbreaking as this video was, I’m grateful the SPCA allowed you to video in their facility. And that TH-cam actually brings in enough revenue for you and the animals so that this emergency care can be given without the worry of how to finance… I’m not even a dog person, yet I totally want to scoop this baby Angel up and give her all the loves and best life from here out. She’s going to end up in the bestest home when she’s healthy enough. 💚
Donation made. Angel's suffering is unimaginable. Can't move, burnt by your own waste, infected ears, diseased mouth and ulcerated eye, weak muscles - probably arthritic. Her whole body is painful. What sick individual watched her exist like this for years? Thank you Vanessa and SPCA. This is likely the first bit of love and care of her life. Well done little Angel 👏 ❤
Unfortunately, there can be other explanations for her condition apart from "sick individual". An older person who died and doesn't have a close family, or was taken ill with cancer or heart attack and had to spend a prolonged period of time in hospital, or has dementia and at one point stopped caring for the dog. All that come to mind.
@andro99991 I understand you're trying to be kind and open minded. However, that was many many years of neglect. I have never seen a dog where all 4 feet do not touch the ground as they're encased and they can't walk. I've seen matted legs, but not so severe. If I was ill and my dog was suffering and starving I'd seek outside help. Ring the authorities. Do something. I can't accept an excuse for the suffering. If someone died it would still have taken years to get in that state anyway.
It’s heartbreaking. I can’t imagine what her life has been like. I keep looking at her precious face and wondering how someone can see her face and not feel anything.
@@Spike-ck5tjI agree! Who ever this sick person was, mentally or otherwise, they must've had visitors who have seen the condition of this pup over the years. Somebody Should've done Something before now. Poor sweet Angel wasnt let down by just one person. I pray she regains her strength and health and has the best life imaginable from here on out 💖🙏❤
@@Spike-ck5tj I kinda feel, as andro said, that this was probably an older individual who couldn't care for the dog. Given that Angel was called in as a stray, it could be that the person's family ignored their relative for many years, only visiting after they had passed, and didn't want to be shamed for the neglect so just opted to pretend they dog was a stray.
Who ever is responsable for the condition that poor thing is in should be put in jail! Thats not neglacting an animal. Its far beyond that. Its for sure a crime. Thank you for taking care of that job!
You are kinder than I would be. Woodchipper would be true justice, not jail time. There is absolutely no excuse for that level of neglect, absolutely none! 💔🤬🤬
Yeah, there’s a point where neglect becomes abuse, and we’re well past that. Neglecting a dog is forgetting to feed it occasionally because you’re black out drunk or some shit. It’s showing that your priorities are not where they should be. *This* was willful; there’s no way the person didn’t notice.
@@AlexofZippo not saying you're wrong; even in the case of sudden paralysis, you ask someone to take care of your dog, but sometimes there's a human who is just as wrecked as chas mentioned, and it wasn't sudden. Again, this is very likely to be abuse, but there are cases where even this might not be the owner's fault.
Likely the person meant no harm, but slowly lost the ability to care for Angel and themselves. This is a tragic situation. They need our prayers and empathy.💔🙏
Thank you for the amazing work and for helping this sweet pup. This was heartbreaking to watch! I hope Angel recovers and finds a loving forever home! ❤

Bless her heart and bless you all for taking good care of her.
quick question, since the dog wasn´t moving for a long time, would you administer blood thinners like in bedridden humans?
Couldn't agree more.
Absolutely agree ❤ love to Angel 💗
Finally.
Bloody made me shed a few tears.. you're quite right.
Yes! We cannot change the past but we will love her now 🤍🐾
The shake Angel did at 30:04 is supernatural.
Man, this felt more like a surgery than a groom! Thank you for all that you do!
That really describes it. 🥺
You hit the nail on the head, this is what it felt like
That was my thought too... "external surgery". Her little tail wag at the end of the bath was so adorable.
agreed
Thank you for helping this baby !😃🐶💞💞
Speaking as staff at this shelter... thank you for all you do. Angel, Ruger, Sailor, Saber, Arctic... I could go on. We are so lucky to have you.
@mrscrocodile Thank YOU and all of your co-heroes for all the work you do! Take care of little Angel (and the rest of the critters!)
Thank you for all you do for these animals as well! Vanessa's a miracle worker in many ways, and I'm so glad she can help you guys out, but the work the shelter staff does is not to be undervalued!
This comment made me cry 😭
I hope you find a great home for Sabre. I think he just needs a lot of calm, and I understand that can be difficult to find in the shelter
❤❤❤
I agree, and Angel lived up to her name during all of this!
Yea im so glad she had someone comforting her through the process, poor thing.
Sad but also comforting to know that for every bad person out there, there are teams of people who will love and care for dogs.
I hope she continues to improve. This is heartbreaking.💔
God bless you for rescuing your little sweetheart.
I’m so sorry for your loss 😢 Thank you for giving her such a wonderful life. ❤
With the exposure this video is getting, it wouldn't surprise me if they get hundreds of calls from people wanting to adopt her.
With the exposure this video is getting, I hope it also leads to finding the people who did this so they can be punished!!
Awe, that’s a sweet story. I’m sorry she passed but good to know she was given a great loving home!
Still wagging her tail and still gentle and sweer despite what agony she must've been in. Bless her and thank you Vanessa.
Angel certainly deserves her name.
I feel beyond grateful and thankful that Angel is loved by her groomers here. What joy it brings me to see her being released from her captivity of long neglect.
God bless you all.
At the end you can see in her eyes "holy cow! I can stand! I can walk! The stuff I was trapped in is all gone! I can't believe it!" It's amazing.
thinking the same thing. it was amazing how calm she was too as it she knew what was to come.
I was going holy cow! as well, if this took several yes to accrue, her mobility was not a given 🩷
And this little shake after the second bath must have been so satisfying for her. Like "I´m a dog I can do dog things, yay!"
Does Canada have laws about severe animal abuse? The condition of this poor dog is unconscionable. Like others commenting have said, I had tears in my eyes. Thank you to Vanessa, the vet and vet techs who helped this sweet girl, and whoever found and rescued her. 💞
The dog was really thinking "I just want to be a rasta and chill out, who are these tall alien beings giving me a Nazi skinhead".
Thank you so much for your kindness and dedication to these poor babies!
I have tears of sorrow in my eyes thinking what this poor girl has been through, but also happy tears to see her walking at the end. Thanks for helping her.

Any other details on this?:( how does it even come to this...
can they try and track down who was responsible for this
@ritamanley2301 it's hard to say. I'm sure authorities are looking into it. There are animal cruelty laws in Canada...
The rest will be figured out
It breaks my heart knowing how much she must have suffered. Thank you so much for helping her

Thank you so much
I've personally never done it; but I saw a groomer helping at a shelter have a quirky way of breaking down these types of mats.
That's really cool! And yes, Vanessa has said in the past that Dawn is one of the best soaps to use.
(I was just about to say 'gloves'?)
Vanessa - I would love to see an update on this dog... And it might bring in funds for your project.
Vanessa said that the shelter had no hot water and they were working on getting it restored
The massager trick is genius!

God bless you.
This video shows why I hate people at times. WTF is wrong with people.
There is truly evil in this world
cats also have a special relationship with mankind and deserve special treatment

Exactly! This comment! A lot of people are giving the benefit of the doubt to the previous "owners", but we people who help animals in need have seen more of the evil side of humans. We deserve every awful thing we get as a species.

She looks like she was used for breeding and spent her whole life in a cage. Thank you so much for volunteering to take care of this precious dog.
Yeah, it seems likely that someone viewed her as a product rather than a living creature.
That, or she was trapped in a hoarders house, and either the owner took her in or someone else found her and got help

I see video as a positive because this sad dog is getting a good groom and much needed treatment. But that bath water was so so dirty.
They know that a video like this is EXACTLY the sort of thing that drives adoptions and donations and they need so much of both during the winter.
My heart is absolutely crushed for this sweet girl ,may she make a full recovery and find a forever home, thank you so much for helping her❤
Donation made.

Thank you for rescuing such a precious Angel. Keep doing what you're doing. The world needs more compassion & humanity.
Who ever is responsable for the condition that poor thing is in should be put in jail! Thats not neglacting an animal. Its far beyond that. Its for sure a crime. Thank you for taking care of that job!
The person responsible has to be in worse shape. No human would do that to a dog unless there was something seriously wrong with them.

Same for me. I'm just crying my eyes out. As soon as I saw the link for donating I went right in and dropped some Christmas money on Angel. She's worth it! I hope they find a foster that can give her the care and attention she needs.
I was eating my meal too when watching this and had to stop because I wasn't expecting to get so emotional....
Thanks for helping Angel.
Thank you for all you do for the animals who don't have humans to take care of them, and who need help so desperately. I hope more people can contribute to help make your work possible.
Thank you for all you do to help animals in need. Bless your heart. ❤

CHRISTMAS 🎄🎄🎄🎄
SO THOUGHTFUL!!!!!!
🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄
Thank you for the compassion you have towards all animals, but especially this poor little soul. You’re making an enormous impact by caring for helpless animals. You’re a hero Vanessa!
That is horrendous 😢 I'm sat here with tears running down my face. The look in her eyes. Thank you Vanessa and the Humane Society for looking after this little Angel 💜🐾💜
What kind of miserable person could do such a thing to a defenseless animal. Thank you so much for helping her ❤
This is why Vanessa has over 1M subscribers, she cares on our behalf
I know I hate quite a few humans. All who do this to dogs!!
Follow the money.
This is what some DOG BREEDERS
think female dogs are here for.
Some Amish. Here, we have Amish and Menonite puppy mills.
You have to realise that sometimes owners have mental issues and can barely look after themselves let alone a dog.
The both of you are visibly shaken and still get through this. I am sitting here with tears in my eyes. This is horrible.
I’ve never cried during a dog grooming video before. You were her Christmas miracle this year. Thanks for rescuing such an Angel!
you and this vet tech have earned stars in heaven for your care and concern for this poor girl. thank you.
❤ I agree
Thanks for helping dogs in need. Those little whimpers really got to me 😢
I do donate to my local SPCA, but adding to the donation to support what you do. I enjoy your channel, but this was pretty heartbreaking, and I appreciate what you do in your area. I hope doggo finds a good home willing to take on the health challenges. She deserves it for what she’s been through. Give her hopefully a few more years where she is loved and cared for. Sad how many thousands of pets suffer like this but we don’t ever see them, so thank you for bringing the awareness, and taking care of one little pup at a time. ❤ please keep us updated! It’s sadly a drop in the bucket for what many animals go through, but know you’re doing what you can.
Oh no, this is so heartbreaking poor Angel. Thank you for helping her.
Thanks.
I'm always in AWE of The Girl with The Dogs. I, admire, from afar, at watching an ethical, entrepreneurial spirit in teaching us how best to care for our pets.
Vanessa is a woman with a plan and the plan is to the betterment of all pets: i have an equi-groomer, and a slicker brush having learnt how to care better for our cats.
Thank you Vanessa for reminding us truly good people do exist in this world of ours.
Thank you for all you do
Thank you!!!
