I just discovered this channel, and I'm enchanted : beautiful images, perfect sound, nice and not intrusive music, helpful commentaries… You have some taste for good job
I was a Radio Officer from 1973 to 1987 . I watched your channel to remember those good old days . My last ship was a chemical tanker manned by NFD .I signed off after 9 months in USA . I’m settled here now with my family living the American Dream. Hats off to you Chief!!!
@@sallystinebaugh8893 what business of yours is it to nag? I'm just asking a question, what a generation we live in where everyone's a butthurt twerp ready to be offended. And if it gives you shy relief, half my family is American. I've seen a lot of people migrate to the states for whatever reasons, and I've seen karens and bitter uncles asking what right do they have of coming there, it's their country and they're not allowed and a lotta shit. Even though the immigrant has done more for the country than those bums in their lifetime.
Chief, I have enjoyed every one of your educational and beautiful videos, and from the numerous positive and enthusiastic comments, others are as happy to be informed as I. So, why are there a lot of “thumbs down”? That is quite puzzling.
I think it's so cool that the loading can be done completely at sea! The barge and a crane-ship (which is also a cool kinda specialized ship to see) working together to load you is neat to watch! The way the ships just fasten alongside each other like legos or something is very cool, plus the whole operation reminds me of farmers' combines having a grain spout thing that they can use to load trucks or wagons by just pulling up alongside them. It helps keep the harvest moving smoothly without inefficient stops or needing the operator to change vehicles to unload
I absolutely love your Vlogs Chief! I rarely watch TV anymore with all the BS in the media these days and your TH-cam channel is not only informative but relaxing. Your drone footage is fantastic!
Thanks Chief for sharing these videos, the drone footage of your newly painted ship were excellent. Very picturesque. I wondered if you've ever lost a drone at sea, I would worry about myself and I was curious. Thanks again for sharing your adventures, it is fascinating to get a glimpse into your occupation and life at sea. Greetings from a Canadian farmer.
Your sea flogs are great , and so very interesting . Brings me back memories of a few times, not as much as you though ,of my sea time on oil rig jobs and sea duties in 2005 between Singapore and Malta , via Egypt, Israel and Malta , they will always give me special memories . So thanks for reminding me , through your videos of life at sea , seeing I was the camp boss and head chef on board 👌
My wife got the boat tour of the Bosphorus last year...She was live streaming to me..Hopefully some day I can get there with her..Thinking how they load the rice off the barges near our house here in Bangkok...Sort of surprised they did it that way there
Hello there from Odessa, Ukraine. Just wanted to say that I'm a fan of your videos and I never thought that you'd visit my homeland. I appreciate what you're doing, keep it up
Great video, great photography. So exciting getting to travel with you again! Looks like long periods for you with no sleep! Thank you so much for making these!

former seaman here, mate! impressive quality on your videos! absolute joy to watch and remember what I lost by quitting this job! keep it up! smooth sailing!
Always surreal at a busy anchorage. Knowing all those large vessels are going anywhere and everywhere. All with Capts, Chiefs, officers, crew, maybe passengers, cargo. The variety and spice of life, in one area. Then after a few days or weeks. The anchorage is full of a different mix of vessels, Capts, Chiefs, Officers, Crew. Every person with a family, waiting from home. I miss being as sea.
Hi there Chief, love your videos, I have been chief cook on vessels for the last twenty years, and get a real kick out of watching your vlogs. I had my mess man watch the one you made about the hardest working guy on board. We both got a real laugh about that! Sail safe my brother.

It would be interesting for many of of ... things you take for granted are new and interesting to many of us ... I found you on youtube because of being stuck at home because of covid ... thank you for your efforts, and thank you for your GOOD and SLOW English so almost everybody can understand you. Hello chief. Your videos just keep getting better and better. Love the Drone work and the little character that shows up in the corners of the screen. 😂👍
Hey Chief is that cargo hold amidship made with a reinforced hatch cover for landing of Helicopters in emergencies? I see the H marked on it and I figured that's what it was. Plus the ships name is painted there just like the flight deck helipads aboard Offshore oil rigs and drill ships. Thanks for your time and have a blessed day! 🇺🇸🇵🇭⚓️⛴

Love your videos how many barges of grain can you hold. We load barges from truck on the river it normally takes 60 semi trucks to load one barge.
