Today, we gonna talk about the brake and transmission system of the Himiway e-bike. himiwaybike.com/ Never be careless about safety at night
The integrated brake headlight is activated when the brakes are applied and, both front and rear wheels are equipped with reflective coils which ensure the rider's safety at night.
SHIMANO 7 SPEED GEAR SHIFT SYSTEM
The Shimano 7 speed freewheel means you can shift to a larger cog for uphill riding and downshift to a smaller cog at high speeds. In combination with the pedal-assist system, you can adjust the suitable speed to complete your journey.
180MM MECHANICAL DISC BRAKES
Both the front and rear 180mm mechanical disc brakes provide ample stopping power even in the harshest conditions.
HALF TWIST THROTTLE
The half-twist throttle includes the on/off button to prevent accidental activation.
Brake lever Aluminum alloy comfort grip levers with motor cutoff switch

I'm with Vince.. on a bike this size with its power hydraulic brakes would be the way to go. I understand of course the decision to use mechanical is purely economical.. that's why we are here getting the bike so reasonable. One other thing on my mind.. because I dont actually have it yet. But I understand it has a front fork lock out. I find this feature extremely convenient.. forks loose for downhill ,, forks tight for uphill. Therefore having the ability to switch the lockout while the bike is in motion would be cool. Is this connected with a cable to the handlebars for easy engagement???
Just got my cruiser yesterday. Yes, hydraulic would be better for some, but myself I'm your average rider, happy with 20 mph being as fast as I need to go, and the mechanical brakes work just fine. For those wanting to spend the additional $$, apparently switching to hydraulic is an easy task, using the same rotors! As for the lockout, I believe you'd need to reach down to make the change, as it's all right there at the top of the tubes, and once you did it a few times, I bet one could do it quick and easily!
The only Con? I really wish Himiway offered Hydraulic Brakes... I'm going to purchase one anyway, too many Pros not to... For an additional $150 I'll convert to Juintech Hydraulics down the road.
What brand of hub motor is used on the Himiway?
Hi I have a Zebra and my rear tail light doesn’t flash? Is there a setting I can change? I’m in the UK
Aaaa, can't wait for mine to come
expect +2 months
How many piston brakes do the Cruiser and Step through models come with?
This guy talks to everybody like we've never had a bicycle in our lives and I got a feeling he doesn't even know how to ride
Just in case somebody never had a bike like that lol
how do you remove a fault code on the himiway, the front brake cable came out of its socket on the handle bars and it turned the throttle off and put in a code, when i replaced the cable it still does not work rite, the manual said I have to remove the code in order for it to work properly but does not show how to remove the fault code, help
Please send an email to customers@himiwaybike.com. We will help to solve the problem.

"Disc brake and drum brake". No. More like disc brake and rim brake. The only "drum" brakes are on bicycles with coaster brakes.
I'm sorry homie, do you mean larger for uphill, smaller for higher speeds?
oof they did all of these in one take
Lucky
Boy can tell this guy knows nothing about bikes. "Lets talk about the transmission system" seriously.
why the hell is the bike way up in the air? It doesn't need to be on that stand!
Let you see more clearly :)
