Your videos on the Himiway Step Thru Cruiser are the best I have watched . I just purchased a brand new Himiway Step Thru Cruiser only driven it 10.2 miles since Tues Feb. 7th 2023 . Purchased direct from Himiway for $1399.00 no tax and free shipping to New Jersey . Your videos are better than anyone else’s on TH-cam. I’m retired 68 years young . Keep producing videos there great.
Thanks again I have a new Zebra so after 7 years on a home made unit the new one is great fun. The manual will come in very handy also. 73 years going strong (Ocean Shores Wa.)
I just bought a new Himiway Zebra, I'm really enjoying my first ebike. I researched ebikes for 2 years before I bought the Zebra. I'm so glad I did. This was a huge investment for me. I have no regrets. Every where I ride people gather around asking about my ebike. Including women. My thinking was this ebike is so huge and heavy it might not be the choice for females. You kwon what they say, "if a man can do it so can I" I don't disagree...lol I contacted you today, you seem to enjoy riding your ebike as much as a kid would. So do I! Lets continue to enjoy our Himiway ebikes...lol
Found your youtube channel as i was researching ebikes. Bought a pair of Himiway's which arrived a couple weeks ago. Found your videos very helpful as I adjusted pedal assist levels and speed limiter. Lots of good information here. Thanks for putting this stuff out there.
Sorry, against your best wishes I'd say you have become one of the experts we all check with. Another great video. Thanks for the time and effort you put into your channel.
Great info. Just got mine yesterday. Assembled today. Took it for a ride and no matter what assist I had it in, it took off like a rocket. I went through the program and level 1 was set at 39%. I set my 5 levels the same as yours. Muuuuuch better! Thank you.
Broski, Your videos have gotten me up and running on my ebike, it also helped me choose a bike for myself ( HimiCruiser) my wife (Himi Stepthru) and one for my Dad ( Rad mini) and now you finding the manual for the controls is just icing on the cake.. keep up the great work and i hope you grow to 100k subscribers.. Ride On!
Just received my Himiway today....Almost bought the Bolton Blackbird...But the Cruiser is plenty for me...Thank you for the great videos...You are the bearded guru
Just an FYI: I just received a Cobra (3/6/23) and the MAX speed setting on the OEM display I can take it to is 40 kmh (25 mph). It won't advance/stops at 40 kmh when pressing the up button. I believe it was set to 25 kmh (15 mph) from the factory. I may be updating the display per your other video at some point to max the speed if I want to eek out a few more mph's. Thanks for your videos CitizenCycle!! Great stuff Bud!!!!
OMG, bless you. I have watched 3 other videos trying to figure out how to change the pedal-assist settings, and your video is the first one to make sense! Thanks so much for making everything easy to follow and understand!
Great vids. Just received the Cruiser All Terrain yesterday. Rode a Rad before and will actually credit them for turning me on to ebikes. With a procurement background, I did my research, and bought the Himiway. It is seemingly well engineered. Note I have only riden 1.5 miles so far. Raining today (alot). Anyway, seems to have both engineering and maintainer design features. The logic in the battery. The Hub. The list goes on and I've only been able to ride one.five miles. Putting it together and charging battery took some time after receiving it about noon. I'm about to put a rain suit on!!!
Thanks for posting your video, I have a Delfast top 2.0. This is far and away one of the best videos I’ve seen. Straight to the point direct and extremely useful. Wish someone posted one like this for the Delfast I just got mine two weeks ago. My bike is on the high side$$$. But if I was ever looking for another bike or recommending a bike to a friend I would recommend the Himiway! Based upon all of your comparisons. Don’t get me wrong I love my Delfast, so far. Delfast asked me if I was willing to be a distributor. You should be a distributor😁😁 keep putting out great content we love it!!
I received my himiway a week ago and fine tuning it for my use and can't seem to stop being amazed at this bike performance my only concern is my nieborhood or community from ignoring people attempting to strong arm me and take the only means I have to be independent as possible it is embarising that as a senior citizen I would have to have this concern, well I've lived a decent life I will protect myself and my bike. I pray to God to for give everyone who's carried out any violence to any one in the past or in the future.
I love your videos! I would like to see a quick video on mounting and dismounting the different bikes. No one else has done that and it would help with deciding between the step thru and cruisers. Thanks!
Kyle at Bolton Bikes says in the video for programing the controller the wheel size for the 26" wheel should be set at 29" which is the outer diamer of the wheel.
I saw that video. (I also ordered a Blackbird!) I have two Himiways; the Cruiser and the Step Thru Cruiser. I think before I take Kyle's advice and change to a 28" or 29" wheel size, I will check the speed thoroughly with a GPS. The larger wheel size selection will lower the speed displayed on your speedometer. That is why it is adjustable. Keep in mind that your tires do compress somewhat when you ride effectively reducing the wheel diameter back closer to the 26" setting, but I think Kyle has a point when saying the outside diameter of the wheel is more than 26". Checking you MPH/KPH with the GPS in your phone to compare with your speedometer may help you determine exactly what tire size you should lock into the computer/controller. I'm hoping to have my Blackbird by spring or early summer... until then, loving the Himiways.
Dude, YOU ARE AWESOME!! Great information on the programming. I just downloaded the book for this and programmed it to the max!! Hahah! I LOVE LOVE LOVE my HIMIWAY. Best bike you can buy PERIOD. what else could you want in a bike?..this is a AMAZING bike right out the box. NEEDS JUST YOUR ASSESORIES to bolt on. A rocket beast of a bike!!!
Hi, Thank you for posting your videos; they are very helpful. My Himiway Cruiser came in today and I have it assembled now. Just checked all of my settings and made a few adjustments per your video. My speed limiter maxes out at 40. Have you run into this before? No adjustment past 40. Thank you again for your videos. Ebikes are new to me for sure even though I have been cycling for many years!
Good review. Thanks. In answer to your question "Where can I not go?" I've had several ebikes previous to Himiway and have I’ve modifed all of them to fit my needs. I ride mostly on back country dirt roads, old logging roads, and forest trails. I've put 25,000+ miles or so on ebikes over the past 10 years. Maybe 5-10 % of that has been extreme conditions with lots of gravel, rocks, ruts, potholes, mud, and steep curvy narrow paths. This bike is best for predictable conditions. I don't recommend it for rough terrain. At 80 lbs with basic accessories, it's the Harley of e-bikes, a heavy bike that requires pedal assist being on to use the throttle. When you start to peddle and are pointed toward a rock or hole, the bike lunges forward. Obstacles are hard to avoid.
Thanks Mark, yes you definitely need to tame the pedal assist down when you first get it, its set crazy high and it still lunges or takes off on you when you start pedaling. probably not ideal for more technical riding. if i was going to use a bike for more serious off roading i think i would go for mid drive.
Thank you! We have two Himiway on order, and I'm loving your videos on them. Your preference video is one of the key things that convinced me to pull the trigger on purchasing them. Appreciate your clear video on the PAS settings. I'm very curious about the other *unknown* settings. Unfortunately, the manual is lacking in descriptions of each setting. It often defines the setting simply by listing its cryptic name again.. a pretty peeve of mine. 😖 Like you, I'm especially curious about the setting(s) that may impact PAS/performance. Looking forward to more Himiway videos from you!
350 miles on mine. Two low speed crashes and one good crash over the handlebars all out on back wooded trails. Nothing broken except my pride. Bikes a tank.
I have done so much stuff with my electric bike. I cannot believe it still work after hauling like a hundred and fifty pounds of wood in my wagon but it is 1000 Watts ecotric hammer. I went camping 28 Mi away and hauled wood everyday. On the way back and got really wet and it stopped running and I thought it was dead but it started running again and I made it back I think it needs more waterproofing but there is no bike like this the ecotric hammer it's way longer and 1000 watts and goes 25 miles an hour just by setting the controller on the screen. If you have a password on this bike is it that nobody can steal it or use it ever?
Also, I have heard some question how good is Himiway's customer service as they have less of a track record compared to Rad Power Bikes. My experience so far as been a late email to them which they responded at 2:00 AM and then again at 4:00 AM. Who does this? So far....GREAT!
I have same bike. Had it 4 weeks. 197 miles, easy riding (I’m 67). Motor gone.error 30. They have been responsive and new motor on the way. Complete wheel ass’y I assume. From China. Hope this is not common. Otherwise, I love it.
Don't get me wrong.... I like the Himiway Cruiser (I have a 2020 Rad Rover) but I have seen a few YT vids with some new owners having issues particularly with the Controller/Display.... I recommend you do a quick YT search (if you haven't already) and check it out.
Follow up New motor installed at bike shop. Will test ride tomorrow. Not entire wheel, just motor. Bike tech said wasn’t easy and I certainly hope no more catastrophic failures. We’ll see.
I finally understand PAS!! Thank you. The bike I am looking at, you cannot change the amount of PAS. Would you like it if you couldn’t set those limits? I don’t want to buy a bike Im not happy with. Im new and learning! Thank you.
Most bikes do not allow you to set each individual pedal assist power level. It's pretty rare to have that feature. If I really liked a bike and it didn't have this feature I would not let it keep me from buying it.
Thanks for all your great videos. Do you recommend the Himiway over the Radrover 5 or is it a toss up? Both bikes look like they would work for me. Your other excellent videos almost have me ready to pull the trigger on the Radrover 5.
Very cool I just got my Rad ,however I found a Himuway here in town with less then 30 miles on it .for a friend. There's actually 2 . but as far as the Rad I think we could actually maybe upgrade the drivetrain to and that should eliminate the chain from slapping around there ? I've been thinking about doing that myself. Kicking myself for not taking a closer look at the Himuway though .oh well I am happy with the Rad and glad you are here making these great vids .
Friendly tip. Take a look at page 7 of your owner's manual. There you set wheel size with the Ld setting. The actual diameter of a 26 x 4" tire varies but is generally between 29 and 30." The max setting is 28. Try using a GPS speedo as I doubt the cruiser's display is giving you anything close to the actual speed.
I have mine set on 26 at least the last time I checked. When I go past the police set up speed displays they set up an some roads, my display and the police’s mph reading are pretty much the same
What are you thoughts regarding the regular style cruiser and the step-thru? Your Rad has a nearly identical frame to the regular himi so I thought you could offer a valid comparison. I am trying to decide and ready to order. Your videos have been very helpful. Thank you.
I ordered a Himiway Cruser about a month ago. Have not got it as yet. I ordered it from EBC as per your review. I did not know that you could order directly. It might have been shipped faster for me as I live on the West Coast. EBC is in Florida and might take longer? Does the voltage 36 vs. 48 volts make any difference? Thanks for your settings review, easy and concise instructions! What brand phone mount is this? Thanks for your answers.
How long was it, from when you put your order in for the step-thru, until you go the bike? Trying to see if my wait will be similar, as I'm at 4 weeks now. Thanks, very much appreciate your video's!
I'm curious as to what you have your tire circumference set to. I know they're 26x4, but I've heard some people say that because they're so big, you get a more accurate mileage reading if you change it from 26 to 28.
Hi CC excellent job with your videos. I just ordered 2 Himi’s and your videos have the information prospective buyers are looking for. I printed off a copy of the E bike display user manual that you provided. Under the Personalized Parameter Settings page 10 is the option Controller Over-current Cut settings. The default value is set at 15A but can be increased to 25A. Do you think this increase in amperage would change the characteristics of the bike such as speed or torque. Thank you again and keep up the good work.
If you have a 750 bafang motor--i found pedal assist 3 with the bike in 4th to 5th gears gives awsome range with very light peddling.I went 25 miles--on a mix of offroad trails--hills and a city park and went 25 miles on one bar. I have a CSC 20 inch fat tire ebike--but according to a rep at pedrego--all these bikes with a 750 bafang are within 10% of each other on range--speed--etc.You can cruise at 14 to 17 mph--which is brisk while very lightly peddling--even going through the motions on flat pavement--while sipping the power. On a flat surface--just by me peddling--in which it is no effort I can feel--the bike wattage drops from 500 watts to around 100-200 watts--just by moving the pedals you cut power usage in half.
Himi should pay you for this video! The speed at level 4 is 19 km/h, how can I set this to 21 km/h? The steps between level 3-4-5 should be smaller, I think. Thanks a lot and Himi greetings from Germany.🤠👍
I got my step thru because all the numbers where what I was looking for and for resell if I wanted. So far it awesome, the frame is very strong and I trust it to hit the trails. Take your time and to learn the bike if you get one it has great power and comfortable to ride but I trimmed back most powerful settings to my riding style ✌
Great vid of the settings. We just ordered the step thru and the cruiser and are looking forward to checking out your findings. Thanks and keep them coming
Hey Citizen and anyone else. Got a H Cruiser and hopefully I just got a couple of bad parts, but I'm starting to wonder if this bike doesn' do well in hilly ares. Opinions?
Great video. I got mine yesterday and my LS only goes up to 45. I am wondering if that is keeping my top speed restricted since on my first ride I was only able to go about 25MPH. Or is it possible that cold weather slows down the top speed as it was 15 degrees Fahrenheit? I weigh about 190 so I assumed I would get up to 28 or 29 at least. It would be awesome if you could test your top speed with the LS setting at 99 and at 45 to see if it makes a difference.
Same here. My LS setting only goes up to 45 and I can't get the bike to go over 28MPH. I weigh 185. I hope Himiway didn't change the settings to prevent if from going over 28MPH. Did you figure out how to fix that?
@@sethdustband515 Once my wife’s bike arrived I was able to test out my theory and I was right. Her LS setting goes up to 90 and with her bike I can goes much faster with PAS because the motor continues to supply full power as long as I am moving the pedals.
@@sethdustband515 I think maybe they changed the programming in the newer bikes to not allow over 45. Hopefully someone will figure out a way to override it or install the older firmware.
I just ordered the Cruiser Jan. 27, 2021 and received it on 2/9/21. I also ordered the step through and it’s scheduled to ship the end of Feb. or early March. Patience is key!
Have you figured out a way to adjust the throttle? The throttle works on assist level 0 on my bike and on my wife's the throttle will not work until she puts it into level assist 1.
Hey I need throttle setting. So when I'm driving I can push the throttle and have an extra push. I use to have this setting like this but I was playing with the sets and I messed it up !
Totally unrelated, I searched your Ridewithcitizen.com website and bought the Victagen light 2400 Lumens thru the AMZ affiliate dealio. Bikeroo seat and mirrors, bought through you and installed. The light for price and rating etc. I tried to find something better in the price range, nothing competes. I need a bike stand (station) to work on the bikes. Flip over old school put air in my hydro lines. But I did fix a rear flat and re-install with your help hahaha. I need air-pump and air gauge......................are these items you handle and or review? Wish the Himi video was done back in April. We bought two Canadian bikes that had a recall on the brakes. The company did not contact us, I stumbled on a users group................Ride ON!
Thank God I watched this video haha especially this being my first ebike ever ordered. I'd hate for that thing to just take off as soon as I start to move, now I know to turn that bad boy down lol
Hi there, I just received my Himiway Cruiser and tried to increase the speed limiter setting like you did, but the dial doesn't go up more than 45. And when I rode the bike, the speed won't go more than 28 mph even downhill with pedaling hard. I noticed you can set it up to 70-90. So, it seems like Himiway restricted this setting on the newer Cruisers?
Can You do a video explaining the suspension fork ? The dial on the right side shows a lot of info + signs and minus - sign , ABS + - - Some are saying it is only On or Off on that side. I don't believe that. Why all the clicks trueing it and why all the info. do You know ???
i believe as you turn that dial toward the + it should make the fork more stiff or harder to compress until eventually it locks and there is no compression.
@@CitizenCycle925 I'm going to try and formulate a method to test each " click " position so I can say I have found a difference. Sadly the change with each is so small it can't be felt just bouncing the bike while standing beside it. I'm not giving up !! Too bad We can't ask the Mfg. of the fork what gives.
It's Manitou Absolute + Dampener - It has 8 levels of dampening (8 clicks) and a lock out. www.singletracks.com/mtb-gear/manitou-absolute-mtb-fork-upgrade/?fbclid=IwAR1xosbCwVpcLQI3G69XLceq9-bEvK3LedNOV5sqB8Ytx67GUo_KbTYvliU
Any idea how to access the throttle assist buddy? I should be able to ride the throttle, yet mine is factory set to 4mph. Looked at that manual and it doesn't show how to get to the throttle assist settings, only that you can. Any help will be much appreciated
Hey Citizen, thanks for all your videos! A quick question. I’m hearing a lot of complaints from owners on the Facebook groups about motor issues, error code problems, and really poor customer service. Any thoughts or insights?
Electric bike hub motors sometimes burn up from heating up; now one can into the motor settings and limit the maximum electric bike hub motor settings from the default maximum of 18A to something more moderate such as 11A maximum threshold current draw; that should limit any potential damage to one's electric bike hub motor since one has reduced the maximum threshold draw current that can be delivered to the electric bike hub motor; so its not likely to burn up as a result; the other advantage is that the electric bicycle battery will also last hopefully for at least 30% longer mileage also as well; one can also go in and change from the default five pedal assistance levels to the one for nine pedal assistance levels and then at each one of the pedal assistance levels spread out the power levels so they are more granular and specific in nature so as to conserve and save more power so as to extend the potential range of ones electric bicycle by another thirty percent or so; level 1 11% max power level delivered level 2 22%max power level delivered level 3 33%max power level delivered level 4 44%max power level delivered level 5 55%max power level delivered level 6 66%max power level delivered level 7 77%max power level delivered level 8 88%max power level delivered level 9 99%max power level delivered one can for example set level 1 and level 2 so that minimal power is consumed to extend one's potential EV range to the maximum optimal amount.
Citizen. Thank you for the video my brother, I love everyone you do. I'm still wondering though if it's a true 750 watt motor. Or they bullshittin like rad? 🤔lol! I ordered two also another rad Runner
Having a Class II with 7 speeds, I can appreciate dropping down to 5 and having the ability to customize them. All bikes should allow this; it's just software...
Just got a cruiser off of a guy that took delivery in July 21. I tried your tutorial to adjust settings, the speed won't go any higher than 40. Have they changed it so it's locked down? I was sure hoping I could have just a little more. I can get to 28 if I peddle like I stole it.
Just got my Cruiser and changed the top speed. It wouldn't go passed 40 MPH. Took it out and could only get it to 26. ☹️ Where is the link to the manual?
Do they make this bike with a thumb throttle? I would need to remove it for riding on state game lands in Pa once these bikes are approved in class I. Also you can go over 750watt motor.
why does no one mention how to get the bike out of permanent 6km walk speed, mine was stuck at 6km and power cut out after 3 seconds HND HF needed to be set to Y
Not a dumb question at all it took me a couple minutes to figure it out too. The kickstand goes in the front of the mounting plate and the screws thread into the mounting plate on the frame
@@CitizenCycle925 Thanks brother. I did get into the pedal assist and set 0-9, which does allow for more controlled acceleration, still plenty of kick but at 1 affords for easier technical riding through the sticks, muck, etc. You are the best and well deserved Kudos from all, what you do is a lot of work. Ride Easy.

Just ordered the escape this week. Will definitely be watching the viedios
LOVE THE VIDEOS, I HAVE A QUESTION. HOW DO I GET RID OF THE DELAY ON MY PEDDLE ASSIST FOR THE BIGDOG. THANKYOU.
Like you, I'm especially curious about the setting(s) that may impact PAS/performance. Looking forward to more Himiway videos from you!
Citizen-- good relatable videos.
Would like to see some longevity videos with success stories from Himiway owners.
Great job on these vids. I think you have me talked into buying one of these instead of the ecotric rocket. Thanks for all the info
YOUR PROMOTED TO MASTER TECH NOW.... No pressure. Haha
That's a bummer, but I'm glad you're getting a new motor. Hopefully it arrives quickly.
Don't get me wrong.... I like the Himiway Cruiser (I have a 2020 Rad Rover) but I have seen a few YT vids with some new owners having issues particularly with the Controller/Display.... I recommend you do a quick YT search (if you haven't already) and check it out.
Follow up
New motor installed at bike shop. Will test ride tomorrow. Not entire wheel, just motor. Bike tech said wasn’t easy and I certainly hope no more catastrophic failures. We’ll see.
Excellent tutorial! Thanks for all your vids!
When I go past the police set up speed displays they set up an some roads, my display and the police’s mph reading are pretty much the same
Great video! Very thorough and helpful. Thanks for doing this!
This is a GREAT video. Just subscribed.
Awesome! Thank you for the sub! 😁
Thank you. I appreciate your time and help
Just an FYI it will power passed 45 KPH if you choose 28 or 29 inches on the wheel setting. But due to gearing you have to pedal super fast!
What are you thoughts regarding the regular style cruiser and the step-thru? Your Rad has a nearly identical frame to the regular himi so I thought you could offer a valid comparison. I am trying to decide and ready to order. Your videos have been very helpful. Thank you.
What would happen if you drove it in 36v ? Would it harm anything or extend the range of the battery ?
My bike came one day short of two months after I ordered it.
Thank you so much. It's still confusing. Is the pw the same for all bikes?
I'm curious as to what you have your tire circumference set to. I know they're 26x4, but I've heard some people say that because they're so big, you get a more accurate mileage reading if you change it from 26 to 28.
Would you talk about abs setting?
Hey there love ur videos 👍
I wanted to know how much NM of torque does the Himiway Cruiser have ?
Himi should pay you for this video!
The speed at level 4 is 19 km/h, how can I set this to 21 km/h? The steps between level 3-4-5 should be smaller, I think.
Thanks a lot and Himi greetings from Germany.🤠👍
Arg… now I got it! Setting it in percentage an try out! Happy riding.
Sharing is caring! 😊 Thanks
Hello, your video explains my question how to get back to the factory settings
Greetings Peter.
Nice video where do you get these mirrors
I like the bag you have on the rear. What is it? Thanks in advance.
Rear trunk from Rockbros. Purchased it on Amazon
Himiway is looking like a better and better value after each video...........
JUST BUY ONE
Nice Post. What mirrors are on the bike??
I have a 500 watts I can ride his battery with 48 volts, knowing that its battery with him is 36 volts Please, i want an answer
Can you tell me how to unlock the throttle currently only working as walk assist????
@@1RockDog Thank you for that info. So what do we do now? Why does ours only go up to 45? Did we get a bad one?
@@sethdustband515 I think maybe they changed the programming in the newer bikes to not allow over 45. Hopefully someone will figure out a way to override it or install the older firmware.
I just got my Cruiser last Thursday and my top LS is 40 MPH. Why are they lowering it?
Just about to order. How long did it take for you to receive yours after ordering?
I just ordered the Cruiser Jan. 27, 2021 and received it on 2/9/21. I also ordered the step through and it’s scheduled to ship the end of Feb. or early March. Patience is key!
Great video! Thank you.
your welcome!
Have you figured out a way to adjust the throttle? The throttle works on assist level 0 on my bike and on my wife's the throttle will not work until she puts it into level assist 1.
When you cut the stock grips to install those mirrors, do you think the grips will eventually continue tearing?
to change the pedal assist sensitivity go to the 7th screen (SYs) and change to 4. this will give you a smother kick on the pedal assist.
Hey I need throttle setting. So when I'm driving I can push the throttle and have an extra push. I use to have this setting like this but I was playing with the sets and I messed it up !
Have you checked out the quad lock phone case stuff? Think you might like em!
Nice Video!!!! Can u Tell me the setting for unlimited throttle?
Unfortunately the newer Himiway bikes alll have the throttle limited.
I'd hate for that thing to just take off as soon as I start to move, now I know to turn that bad boy down lol
you can definitely fine tune the settings on this bike which is a feature i really like.
I did the same as you show in the video but I get some code which is 18 at the top and 108 01 at the bottom
Same here, mine is limited to 45 and bike cuts motor at 28.6mph and sometimes at 22mph....Any luck on a fix?
I believe 45 is km which is 28mph. So will only go 28mph

Any idea how to access the throttle assist buddy? I should be able to ride the throttle, yet mine is factory set to 4mph. Looked at that manual and it doesn't show how to get to the throttle assist settings, only that you can. Any help will be much appreciated

@@newfdogg You're a legend, thank you! Hn is the one I was looking for. Menu 6 it will be then. Many thanks
Hey Citizen, thanks for all your videos! A quick question. I’m hearing a lot of complaints from owners on the Facebook groups about motor issues, error code problems, and really poor customer service. Any thoughts or insights?
I have not had any motor issues yet and really haven't had to call customer service for anything, so unfortunately I don't have much insight on this.
@@CitizenCycle925 thanks so much for taking the time to respond!
Electric bike hub motors sometimes burn up from heating up; now one can into the motor settings and limit the maximum electric bike hub motor settings from the default maximum of 18A to something more moderate such as 11A maximum threshold current draw; that should limit any potential damage to one's electric bike hub motor since one has reduced the maximum threshold draw current that can be delivered to the electric bike hub motor; so its not likely to burn up as a result; the other advantage is that the electric bicycle battery will also last hopefully for at least 30% longer mileage also as well;
one can also go in and change from the default five pedal assistance levels to the one for nine pedal assistance levels and then at each one of the pedal assistance levels spread out the power levels so they are more granular and specific in nature so as to conserve and save more power so as to extend the potential range of ones electric bicycle by another thirty percent or so;
level 1 11% max power level delivered
level 2 22%max power level delivered
level 3 33%max power level delivered
level 4 44%max power level delivered
level 5 55%max power level delivered
level 6 66%max power level delivered
level 7 77%max power level delivered
level 8 88%max power level delivered
level 9 99%max power level delivered
one can for example set level 1 and level 2 so that minimal power is consumed to extend one's potential EV range to the maximum optimal amount.
Do you know how long the entire battery expected life span is before I will need to buy a New Battery? Thanks in advance
Citizen. Thank you for the video my brother, I love everyone you do. I'm still wondering though if it's a true 750 watt motor. Or they bullshittin like rad? 🤔lol! I ordered two also another rad Runner
Go to BoltonBikes.com and watch his review where he confirms true 750 watts for Himiway
Do you have to pedal or is there a throttle where you don’t have to pedal. If not can you upgrade it and make it into a throttle
Having a Class II with 7 speeds, I can appreciate dropping down to 5 and having the ability to customize them. All bikes should allow this; it's just software...
What lube do you use on you Use with your Himiway bikes?
Just got a cruiser off of a guy that took delivery in July 21. I tried your tutorial to adjust settings, the speed won't go any higher than 40. Have they changed it so it's locked down?
I was sure hoping I could have just a little more. I can get to 28 if I peddle like I stole it.
Yes I've heard that Himiway recently adjusted the settings and added a new speed limit, bummer, I didn't realize it was that low.
super useful video! thanks so much for sharing!
It comes with a twist throttle on half the right grip.
Thanks. That was helpful. And I saved the link.
I want to go from a stop to 20 miles per hour on throttle so want full power at all times how do I set that on a Vitalan u7
why does no one mention how to get the bike out of permanent 6km walk speed, mine was stuck at 6km and power cut out after 3 seconds HND HF needed to be set to Y
This might be a stupid question but how do I attach my kick stand? I have 2 bolts but no nuts! Is the support to be nuts holding the stand on????
Not a dumb question at all it took me a couple minutes to figure it out too. The kickstand goes in the front of the mounting plate and the screws thread into the mounting plate on the frame
Can you replace the display for a different one that shows battery %
I have heard horror story about himiway after sale service do you have more info on that ?
Just got my Himiway Cruiser, mine seems to top out at 45? Any advice? Thanks as always.
Himiway changed the programming, lots of folks asking about it, i don't know of any work arounds unfortunately.
Ride Easy.
How do I adjust the breaks. I hear something like they are rubbing
