  • Bricks and concrete were left over from my various construction projects. I decided to use them to repair this part of the road/field. Of course, this will not be the final result.
This crawler tractor/bulldozer is too light to crush large chunks of concrete.
This bulldozer is not mine and I don't know much about it. It works well, but needs to be repaired.

It is amazing that such an old Soviet crawler still runs. Those are really interesting tracks, different that what we have here. The crunching action is satisfying though.

Friendly advice: Engage the pinion gear with the flywheel first and then start the pony engine. Less danger of grinding the teeth on the pinion gear. The starting engine clutch is permanently disengages anyway. If your machine is on neutral you should be fine. I use this all the time since finding new pinion gears for the starting engine clutch is close to impossible soon. Other wise the bricks seemed to be very weak if a 6 ton tractor can crush them without any additional weight.

Thanks for noticing that. I always turn pinion gear on before starting. It didn't turn on then because of the difficulty of accessing the lever. And if the pony engine is running, I don't want to turn it off, maybe next time it won't start.
Yes, bricks are nothing for this tractor.

@@Westcoastdigger Might be the pinion gear already has been damaged and it will only go in on the less grinded side. No point in trying to fix it now. If you plan on doing a starting engine rebuild than there is a point also fixing the pinion gear at the same time. The starting engines fail to do lot of wear in the bearings and bearing seals. Since it's a 2 stroke engine when one of the seals goes out. It will be almost impossible to start it. One indication is your starting engine will start blowing fuel out from the carburetor. That means a imminent rebuild is in session. Also the leaver is from a older DT-75 crawler. This one should have a very short leaver that is directly connected to the starting engine clutch with a link. The separate leaver for the pinion gear is more fool proof if the clutch starts to slip.

I have a project for this tractor, but if there is any serious defect it will be easier to scrap it.

Ты даже по цветам и траве гусеницами проехал?? Легко гусеницы раздавили зеленые насаждения?
