Good compilation. One more: In RE2 Remake, on the 2nd floor of the police station, you need to get a valve to turn off the steam leaking from the wall piping and allowing you through the shower area into the corridor containing the Licker and the STARS office. In RE3 Remake, as Carlos, you're the one who causes all that damage seen by Leon/Claire in RE2.

Yeah the RPD building is a mess. I started a new game and I was playing for about 30 minutes and the layout of RPD fried my brainI basically got so confused I did circles and circles around doing the exact same thing thinking that I was making progress
Aw yes as soon as I played through RE3 I knew this video will show up eventually. It had some fantastic attention to detail by filling in the gaps for RE2.
Here’s some more! In the RPD, inspect the painting on the wall before heading up the right stairway... Also, a really good one that a lot of people missed >>> before detonating the C4, head back to Tyrell and he will start with some sarcastic comments but eventually Carlos will ask him if he got anything, and I was surprised to hear Tyrell say that he found survivors holed up in the RPD (Someone please try this and let me know who you think he could be referring to)
Some people might have missed this as is not very obvious. You you can find both shotgun Barrel upgrade both and Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3 remakes in the same shelf on the Kendo gunshop. Leading you to believe that is the shotgun upgrade that Leon picks up. It's the one Jill left behind in Exchange the for the semi-auto Barrel that was in Resident Evil 3.
Here's one: Pay attention to the posters on the wall, some may not be obvious which games they are referring to, so you have to look at the words on the posters!
It's more of an Easter Egg than a hidden detail, but when you find Nicholai's journal after arriving inside NEST 2, it mentions him leading a group of infected to Racoon City University, where they caused an outbreak that evidently killed everyone. This is a reference to the original Outbreak game, where Nicholai visits the university to hunt down and eliminate an Umbrella researcher during the "Decisions, Decisions" scenario. Similarly, in Resistance, Valerie Harmon's bio mentions that her roommate, another intern, had developed memory problems as a result of experiments done on her. This is a nod to Yoko Suzuki, a character from Outbreak with that exact backstory. Also like Valarie, Yoko is a student at the university, and carries a backpack which lets her carry more items than other characters in her game.
@@jacobneumann5021 Capcom keeps throwing nods out to it: there's an article by Alyssa in Re7, you find Rita's desk in the Resident Evil 2 Remake, and then there's this.
To expand on Kendo, it turns out that Burton piloting a chopper was going to be his and his family's extraction from Raccoon City: we see this in the Ghost Survivors, where the divergence point is that he didn't blow his brains out after mercy-killing Emma like he did in the RE2 Leon story. Barry was the original extraction pilot for Jill in the OG RE3.

that moment when brad bit the lieutenant and he runs in side was brilliant. i just played the start of resident evil 2 again and when the lieutenant gives leon the knife in the hall, he said "when you see one of those things friend or not.....dont hesitate" him saying that now and the look in his eyes knowing he was biten buy one of his very best! that scene to me anyway mean so much more now! love the remakes! tho 3 was way to short :/ jill not going to the police station!!??
If you look at some cameras (I think in the black room safe room) as Carlos he’ll say something along the lines of “If cameras killed zombies I would be all set.”
The scene with Kendo in re2 is definitely emotional, but I was a little distracted by the rain still bouncing off him and his daughter AFTER they pass through the doorway
I feel like RE3 is much smoother compared to RE2. Graphic wise RE3 is quite an upgrade even though they toned down the gore on this one. I've been playing RE3 since day 1 and my total playtime is now at 73hours. I played RE2 again and I noticed that RE2's movement is not that smooth compared to RE3. Maybe it's because I'm so used to the dodge.
There is an Easter egg in RE 2 in the Kendo gun shop. Jills letter to Kendo. Also when you first meet with Brad he tried to signal a helicopter and is ignore just like he ignored Jill/Chris in RE 1.
My favorite line from Carlos was after the entrance of the police after a certain event "Sorry poster boy". And the police car in Jill's apartment looks the one from the resident evil 2 remake that Leon and Claire head into the city in.
The Police Uniform that Carlos comments on is actually Leon's default outfit, not the unlockable one based on his original outfit. Though Carlos finding it there does sort of confirm that Claire A Leon B is canon once again, despite the inconsistencies between playthroughs of RE2 Remake.
I disagree, I feel Leon a Claire b is canon now, I feel it fits the new story better but it could be me, also when Marvin gives Leon the uniform he could have gotten them from that room or somewhere else so who knows but Leon a Claire b makes more sense imo
if you wanna make a part 2, - All lockers and safes have the same password to open them as R2MAKE. - Similar to the cops in the hall in RPD, we also get to see how the steam pipe gets broken and how the wall is blown up in the shower room in R3MAKE. - The door to storage room is open for Leon in R2MAKE because Carlos unlocks it. The "weird f***ing door"s remain unlocked for Carlos because the key to unlocking them is behind a wall that is intact in R3MAKE. Even though we don't get to see how that wall gets broken down for Leon, I like to think that Nemesis broke it while chasing/looking for Brad. I don't know how Brad would shake him off his tail, but how else he could have known about a STARS killing monster to warn Jill about? At least that's my thinking. - Also if you are willing to spare a bullet as Carlos and hit to bullseye in the dart in the STARS office, Carlos and Tyrell make some fun quips about it. - On her way to buying some time for Carlos and co to make final repairs, Jill yells Nemesis "You want STARS? I'll give you STARS!". Even though I don't particularly like where that line is used mostly because uttering such badass line makes you think she'll stand her ground and beat the living lights out of the monster instead of running her ass off into the sewers, it's still a callback to the original game's ending. - Speaking of Nemesis, if during a battle you keep shooting his electric box on his chest, he will proceed to put one hand above it, defending it from further damage. - We shall never know how Carlos went to the underground facility without opening the doors that only Jill and Tyrell were able to unlock, or how even with a huge 1 day head start he couldn't find the vaccine when Jill did it in like within the hour, but I like to think the dead bodies lying around that never get up in the facility are the zombies that Carlos killed. - In R2MAKE, you find a note to Kendo written by Jill, which even unlocks the "Chasing Jill" achievement. In R3MAKE, we see the encounter after which she writes that note. As a semi-bonus, Claire even enters the same gate as Jill, but where Jill goes forward, Claire goes upstairs. - The groundwork for R4MAKE is laid out in a file you find in NEST 2. In the file titled "Expression of concern", Dr. Bard writes that while he marvels at the idea of using a parazite to control a tyrant, the fact that parazites are uncontrollable makes it very dangerous; but he's sure that his colleague (who is in Europe) has already a plan for it. Knowing RE4 takes place in Spain, therefore Europe, AND the game features a parasitic type new enemies (Las Plagas) for the first time (to be followed by Uroboros in RE5), this smells like much more than a mere reference. - And aside from the obvious ones like the posters, mascots and the casting trivia, there is one other (that I noticed) that not many have caught. The car that Jill rams into Nemesis at the beginning is the same car in Jack's garage in RE7.
I dunno, might be a bit haunted, but always found the Brad Vickers chomp bit funny. It's just the "Sorry" in the Scooby Doo constipated voice, the delayed look at eachother and then the speed of the attack out of nowhere with the "Arrrrgh"

Yeah the RPD building is a mess. I started a new game and I was playing for about 30 minutes and the layout of RPD fried my brainI basically got so confused I did circles and circles around doing the exact same thing thinking that I was making progress
I expected the dog's balls part...
But my only question is "Why?"
Exactly 😂
Me at 9:08 : good boi hell hound
Captain Eggcellent at 9:09 : *zooms in on the dogs ballsack*
Y I F F
When you were showing the character models and made sure to show the dog's balls, I became concerned when you next went to Brad.
Aw yes as soon as I played through RE3 I knew this video will show up eventually. It had some fantastic attention to detail by filling in the gaps for RE2.
Here’s some more! In the RPD, inspect the painting on the wall before heading up the right stairway...
Also, a really good one that a lot of people missed >>> before detonating the C4, head back to Tyrell and he will start with some sarcastic comments but eventually Carlos will ask him if he got anything, and I was surprised to hear Tyrell say that he found survivors holed up in the RPD (Someone please try this and let me know who you think he could be referring to)
That Carlos , Nikolai , Jill moment remind me of when Goku tell Piccolo to finish Raditz off along with him.
Here's one:
Pay attention to the posters on the wall, some may not be obvious which games they are referring to, so you have to look at the words on the posters!
Damn we need outbreak to return
@@jacobneumann5021 Capcom keeps throwing nods out to it: there's an article by Alyssa in Re7, you find Rita's desk in the Resident Evil 2 Remake, and then there's this.
To expand on Kendo, it turns out that Burton piloting a chopper was going to be his and his family's extraction from Raccoon City: we see this in the Ghost Survivors, where the divergence point is that he didn't blow his brains out after mercy-killing Emma like he did in the RE2 Leon story.
Barry was the original extraction pilot for Jill in the OG RE3.
"I knew you couldn't pull the trigger."
Subtitles: "I knew you couldn't poop." 🤣
Constipated pistol lmao
😂
Captain Eggcelent: these are small details that are incredible
Me: so does that mean that its a subtle detail
Captain Eggcelent: *Shows details that are clearly obvious and can be seen easilly*
The majority of these are easily noticeable, especially if you've played re2.
There’s also my favourite detail
Jiggle physics
that moment when brad bit the lieutenant and he runs in side was brilliant. i just played the start of resident evil 2 again and when the lieutenant gives leon the knife in the hall, he said "when you see one of those things friend or not.....dont hesitate" him saying that now and the look in his eyes knowing he was biten buy one of his very best! that scene to me anyway mean so much more now! love the remakes! tho 3 was way to short :/ jill not going to the police station!!??
When you see one of those thing "UNIFORM" or not... You do not hesitate
In the S.T.A.R.S Office in the RPD building as Carlos, if you shoot the Dartboard, Carlos has unique dialogue.
Love how when Brad spins first he's smiling then frowning
If you look at some cameras (I think in the black room safe room) as Carlos he’ll say something along the lines of “If cameras killed zombies I would be all set.”
Oh god the instant zoom on the dog balls😂😂
11:25 nikolai: knew u couldn't pull the trigger
TH-cam captions: knew you couldn't poop😆😆🤣👌
Damn! Robert Kendo Always Gives Me The Feels In RE2 Remake.
Capcom just put that scene in the re2 remake just for a cheap emotional reaction
The scene with Kendo in re2 is definitely emotional, but I was a little distracted by the rain still bouncing off him and his daughter AFTER they pass through the doorway
In the hospital there’s a teddy bear in a wheelchair like in resident evil 7
When I saw the dog model I knew something was going to happen and I was right.
"That's the dogs bollocks right there" 😆
I feel like RE3 is much smoother compared to RE2.
The shaders on models is what makes re3 looks tons better than re2. Just see how jills model in resistance looks vs in re3.
There is a fatel frame Easter egg in the dark room of the RPD
I got that too, if that camera can kill then I'm all set reference.
That dog was really a BALLSY MADAFAKA in 3d you showed us 😂
There is an Easter egg in RE 2 in the Kendo gun shop. Jills letter to Kendo. Also when you first meet with Brad he tried to signal a helicopter and is ignore just like he ignored Jill/Chris in RE 1.
Brad is the first zombie that can speak
My favorite line from Carlos was after the entrance of the police after a certain event "Sorry poster boy".
And the police car in Jill's apartment looks the one from the resident evil 2 remake that Leon and Claire head into the city in.
9:20 I like how he zoomed in to the dogs ba-
"We coded the horse balls to shrink in cold biomes"
Capcom: "Hey, dogs have balls too!"
I never thought about not killing Brad, so the difference lines is pretty cool.
3 remake turned out so good. great video!
11:22
What nikolai actually says: knew you couldn't pull the trigger.
What the auto generated captions hear it as: knew you couldn't *poop*
The Police Uniform that Carlos comments on is actually Leon's default outfit, not the unlockable one based on his original outfit. Though Carlos finding it there does sort of confirm that Claire A Leon B is canon once again, despite the inconsistencies between playthroughs of RE2 Remake.
I disagree, I feel Leon a Claire b is canon now, I feel it fits the new story better but it could be me, also when Marvin gives Leon the uniform he could have gotten them from that room or somewhere else so who knows but Leon a Claire b makes more sense imo
Gotta give props to the creators of re3 for giving the dog balls
Super realistic.
if you wanna make a part 2,
- All lockers and safes have the same password to open them as R2MAKE.
Carlos: bet you had a kickass first day leon
Leon: yeah you wouldn't believe it
Nikolai and Carlos have bulletproof vests yet they're worried that pistol bullet is gonna pass through both lol
2:50 I always had a feeling that a licker was responsible there
I dunno, might be a bit haunted, but always found the Brad Vickers chomp bit funny.
It's just the "Sorry" in the Scooby Doo constipated voice, the delayed look at eachother and then the speed of the attack out of nowhere with the "Arrrrgh"
On Leon 2nd run, you actually change into that outfit
That zoom in on the dogs balls made me laugh
This game was super fun every second it lasted. It's criminal how short this game is. This game would've been much better if it was 1.5× longer.
I like Carlos saying to take a number when there was a swarm of zombies.
