Will never board a piston helicopter. I'm guessing here, but I don't think Bell has built a piston helicopter since the 47G-5. Early 70s? Of course the Lycoming engines used on today's piston helicopters were designed long before that!

The 505 has a turboshaft engine, not a piston engine.
