Spin border is really good for smaller hard baits, but it has definitely turned into my rod for skipping soft plastics under bushes/trees in really tight quarters. It has fantastic sensitivity. Good free rig rod. Has been a game changer for my pond fishing.
They’re similar with Tulala with the super versatility, I’ve been using an El Horizonte 70 for anything from glides to chatterbaits and even 110s (albeit with an Antares MD DC, Silver Wolf, and Bantam), it’d be cool for others to experience Tulala rods!
I'm full up on bougie spinning rods, but during the breaks in the commentary I was digging your brother's riffing. The music volume was listenable but definitely not overpowering the vocals.
Even after the video, I still cant decide which one to choose between 611mlstride and 67L+. mainly want a rod to do strolling techniques. this video said 611 is a staple strolling rod but in another video said side kick is perfect. always fishing alum creek lake in ohio so not very deep lake(17ft thermocline) . Wondering which one you will choose between these two. thanks!
Ben, What would you choose between the megabass orochi x10 medusa or the raid stride? Both have the stinger tip so guessing they both can you be used for the same thing as you mention for the stride. Thanks for the awesome videos.
Great info... I really need to make a trip around November to the shop. I'd really like to get my hands on these Raid and some other Spinning / Casting rods. Gonna have to bring my wallet for sure...
Have you done a video on any of the high end Shimano rods. You mentioned the Poison Ultima in the 24 Daiwa SV video, and I would love to hear your opinion on them!
Hmmm...about 6 mins in regarding the stinger tip discussion...this had me wondering if this was the cause of my p5 destroyer dark sleeper rod snapping just past halfway up the rod as i got my bladed jig hung and was trying to bow whip the line to free my bait. suddenly the rod snapped and with surprising ease it seemed; wish I would've seen this video sooner.
No - unrelated. Obviously it’s just a guess since I wasn’t there - but 99% of broken rods I see are from high sticking - landing fish/casting/hooksets/unsnagging
@@thehookuptackle_usa yeah was weird. i always pull straight back with no flex on the rod when forcing a breakoff. but, i was just doing the usually flex and snapping the line as you would to try and free the lure from the snag, but the rod suddenly popped to my surprise. lesson learned.
@@edmelungeon2239 yeah megabass japan didn't help me at all. pretty disappointed with them. correspondence with them felt as if their stance is it's a privilege buying their rods. i could be wrong, but i've read warranty and return policies aren't emphasized in japanese culture.
I don't mind EVA fiam but I just can't shy away from my X10s and P5s. I just can't see rods getting much better than those. I've had NRXs, conquest and steez rods and IMO they're not as sensitive as the megabass models.

Awesome to hear! Thank you for sharing 👊🍻
This line up I will definitely going to look into
The Bush Serpent from the Kaleido Serpenti line up is the best all around spinning rod i've ever tested personnally. Very versatile and sensitive

How’s the sensitivity compared to the p5s?
Ben, is it these rod made in Japan ? 🇯🇵
I throw the dice unweighted! It crushes in the river systems near me. The Flyssa does a pretty good job throwing it.
I love the Flyssa for this as well!
What’s the best two drop shot rods in this line?

You could go either way honestly. They’re both beautiful rods and similar in application. So I would choose the grip you like 👍

My p5 destroyer windbuster broke casting a 3" spark shad on a 1/4oz head. No warranty because i bought it at the wrong place. Fk megabass.

Hard to beat the Megabass models!
you definitely smoking crack!
You're the first person I've ever heard say that. Whatever works.
Ben did you gain weight?
