Great video Kevin. Both of those watches are great pieces. That CW should have a female end link. That Longines is nice. I am a sucker for a bronze watch.
Thank you very much. I like both watches as well. I think the lugs are a little too short on the CW for female end links, but yes I agree.
Nice job Kevin! Longines is doing some really cool gradient dial colors these days in the super compressor..... I recently bought my father a Longines Conquest with blue dial. It's a great looking watch. I think Longines really nails the quality to price point and is positioned well in the market.....The CW is nice looking too.

The Chris Ward looks so much nicer, but I am bias because I own one. You didn't mention the slight misalignment with the red lettering, as it isn't centred between the 5 and 6. My only complaint is that the super compressor crown doesn't screw down, and thus moves when being worn. It should be noted that the CW wears a lot smaller than the dimensions indicate. I do have other watches with female end links that have quick release spring bars,
I just recently wore the CW super compressor for a few days and it feels so good on the wrist. Yes, you are correct about the text not being centered. They had these watches on clearance, and no longer offer this colorway. I have thought about selling it a few times, but have not yet.

Awesome watches definitely CW the Longines nothing to look past CW cause it's a true compressor

They are good for the monet as far as I can tell. Try to find the one that you want used.
So you are paying 3k for a fake and 1k for the real thing 🤔
I would not call it fake, just that it does not work like a super compressor. The funny thing is that it has twice the water resistance of the "real" super compressor.
Why would it need to work as a super compressor when we now know how to make cases that are 300m water proof? It's still functional and the crown setup won't have it fig into your hand.
Plus servicing is gonna be cheaper with it being a "fake" super compressor.

I agree, I am finding it hard to let it go from my collection.
The lume is so bad that it is the deal breaker. With all the modern technology, the lume can easily be improved.
I agree, lume is not something that should be cheeped out on, especially on a dive watch.
