    I made a proyectile that ricochets off the walls and also off some very heavy objects but not so much because it has like 100k mass, also i disabled it the gravity, inspired in the turret ricochet from tanki online (it does about 5k dmg per hit) also it has a quite slow speed for a projectile, but i made a variant with max speed posible which i use it as the long range variant

    Hi can you tell me how to do the projectiles don't go to ground so they only go to the hitpos ??? like a bullet from a gun.

    I'm just trying to Make Pod-042 floating beside Me shooting an externally Mounted 30mm Cannon. (a bit like the Bradley's 25mm Bushmaster style :D)

    i sont know if you will respond but if you do thanks in advance. the projectiles dont spawn or shoot they only shoot if i click invert off and back on and it shoots once but doesnt continue.

    Hi, I'm not sure if I will get a response but I will ask anyways...
    every time I try to shoot the projectile it just spawns in my head then disappears(it does the disappearing thing because I have set it to only spawn for 3 secs)
    I want to make a jumpscare kind of thing with a skull prop but no matter how many settings I change it just does not work

    when you say pac3 servers do you mean a server with pac3?

      Yeah, of course. Any servers with at least the workshop edition of pac3 should work

    how do u make big projectiles? cause my projectiles go left for no reason

      @@Doomdoom876 There’s a stat for projectile size in the Projectile entity. This affects the blast radius of the projectile after a collision.
      If you want the projectile to look bigger, just make the size of the entity used as the bullet, larger.
      Bullets going left may be because the angle of the projectile entity may be in the wrong direction. Other than that I don’t have a clue I’m afraid.

      @@Doomdoom876 the creeping thought of where the consciousness goes after death scares me. Does it simply not exist? How would we experience non-existence? The closest comparison we have is sleep, but sleep is defined by the eventual reawakening of the consciousness. Therefore is death just a sleep? Sleep suggests that our consciousness has to fit somewhere, in a new mind with no memories perhaps?
      The past adds context to the present, and a present (nothingness) with no past (also nothingness) is impossible. Non existence is a place with no time. How would we exist in a place with no time?
      Because reality is defined by what we perceive, a death of consciousness, the deletion of the perceiver must be impossible as then would follow the deletion of reality.
      It’s an impossible to answer question. We are just not equipped with the facilities to even comprehend the variables in play, like an equation where the second half after the equals sign is blacked out, or written in a wavelength of light our eyes cannot perceive.
      We as a consciousness entity in this universe are not gifted with the knowledge of what happens to our minds or souls after death.
      We are in an awful middle ground, where dumber creatures than us can’t even care about themselves beyond life, but beings possibly more advanced than us are not subject to the game of life and death, and therefore don’t have to concern themselves with such worries.
      But maybe it’s vain to beg of such things. What gives us the right over other species to beg to bend the rules of death? Just for us.
      Every other creature, small to big, stupid to smart have faced this problem of infinite nothingness. I will not go sweated and piss-ridden in the face of my ultimate demise, but I wish we were lucky enough to have all our fears settled, so we have at least don’t have to lie when we say that “I’m not scared”.

    hi. I wanted to ask something: I'm new on pac3 and I watched this tutorial to help me how to make my own projectile. Idk if someone already asked about it so... when I use my projectile in first person, it says "changing collision rules within a callback is likely to cause crashes!". it only works in third person or in the pov of a camera. Is that supposed to happen? is there a way I can fix it or the projectiles usually only works third person?

      Just naturally, anything in Pac only works in Third Person. So it won't work in first person. I've never heard of an error occurring though which is interesting. There are three ways of making anything in Pac work in first person.
      First of all there's a command call Pac_render_distance or something. If its set to -1 then everything in the world including your own Pac is rendered in first person. Not a fantastic fix as it means *all* of your Pacs can be seen in first person so you'd get models in your face so you cant see and stuff.
      Secondly there's making a new camera entity in Pac itself, and placing it on the head bone to simulate first person. This fix kind of sucks aswell since the head bone is a 1 for 1 replica of first person meaning you wont be able to aim properly.
      Last of all there's a way to make groups apply to first person models but I've forgotten the exact method since I haven't used Pac in years. Although this video may help.       I believe if you crank the mass and speed stats way up, give it no damage and tick physical and collisions, that *could* work. Haven't touched PAC3 in like 3 years so sorry if it don't work.

      Either set your pac draw distance to -1 in the settings, it may not allow -1 so you may have to use a console command I can’t remember right now. Something like pac_drawdistance -1.
      Or you can do something like set the root groups owner to something idk

      Deadly Sunshine put sv_pac projectiles 1. That may not work as I cannot remember from the top of my head, try taking away the s on projectiles or add or subtract underscores _

      True, but the captions were made so you didn't need to see exactly what is happening and still know whats going on. If i had thought of it at the time I would've made the UI larger so its easier to see.
