Love the Braemar Gathering! We had great seats and have pix of the Royal Family as they exited their cars right in front of us to walk to the pavilion! The battles of the pipes and drums were incredible!!! Definitely worth the time!

What a silly statement by Charlotte, kilts are not a fashion item, they are traditional dress. Well loved by many men and women and not just in Scotland. Not every man enjoys wearing the kilt, a pity POW is one of them as he would look ace.

I think Charlotte is quite nuts to think he will ever be welcome back except by his 2 or 3 remaining friends. I can’t think why she would suggest he’s exiled. Everything he’s done has been his choice.
Absolutely. 👏👏 There seems to be a certain contingent 😏 who are actively promoting a return for Harry. (NO WAY Charlotte) They seem to have very short memories of the nastiness of the Harkles, the damage they’ve done to the RF & continue to try & do.
Kilt wearing is still v popular in Scotland and not viewed as " nonsense".....lots of young guys love wearing the kilt and take great pride in wearing it. Young and old wear the kilt in Scotland for special occasions. No problem if P William isn't comfortable wearing it but Charlotte that was an ill considered comment....there is far more to British heritage and culture other than what goes on within the London bubble.
Yes, William will probably realize that because he is also King of Scotland, and in Scotland, kilts are a large part of the tradition there, he may have to bite the bullet..

Exactly, Charlotte Griffiths' sneer was culturally insensitive and unnecessary. It's not nonsense, it's a deeply held tradition. Wearing your clan kilt and/or tartan is as much a part of a Scot's identity as St. George's red and white is to the English. HMTLQ favoured the Stewart tartan, but as PoW Charles wore many tartans over which his titles had dominion. King Charles is wearing the green and blue Clan Lyon tartan in the photos this summer...a hat tip to his Grandmama's heritage? Soldiers used plaids for warmth in the WWI trenches and a piper played while they went over the top, most to their death. In the second battle of El-Alemain Monty had a regimental piper leading the charge...and on D Day Pipers hit the beaches of Normandy...so few survived that Pipers are no longer allowed on the front lines.

Love the Braemar Gathering! We had great seats and have pix of the Royal Family as they exited their cars right in front of us to walk to the pavilion! The battles of the pipes and drums were incredible!!! Definitely worth the time!
Did you ever stop to think that all these stories about 'fun' Harry currently circulating are PR? It's to try and bring around nostalgia for the prince of the past. The man has made it quite clear what he thinks of this country and no amount of 'fun Harry' will work with me.

Congrats on the 300,000. Please let the Daily Mail know that I am tired of their constantly pretending there will be some kind of reconciliation between Prince Harry and all the family members he has betrayed and continues to do so. Blaming Prince William for anything and constantly gossiping about him regarding the rift is disrespectful. Prince William has done nothing wrong and is protecting his children from a very disturbed Harry who has expressed his desire to teach the Wales children not to be trapped. Harry would mess with their heads in a very destructive way.

Totally agree. H has said so many unpleasant things. Even remembering a third of what he said about his own family - no one would want that negativity in their lives. Good riddance to him and really, just stay in America.
