I know, and neither the queen or her father wanted to be monarch. If it hadn't been for the abdication, she wouldn't have been queen but yes. She was born to be queen and no one could do it better. I don't even think that princess Catherine whom I admire greatly will be able to fill those shoes.

Those photographs showing the late Queen's sheer love and enjoyment in her family, her horses, and dogs, is so easy to see...so comforting to know she did what she set out to do. It's so obvious that her vow to serve, "whether her life be long or short" meant a great deal to her, not only when she was in her twenties, but throughout her life.
If only her young grandson (Henry) could understand the true meaning of duty, service and love... His Grandmother exuded duty from every pore, yet faced the world with confidence (bolstered by he beloved "strength and stay" HRH Prince Philip) and was comforted, I believe, by the love of _her people_ here and around the world.
Henry has no idea what love, duty and service truly means. The late Queen did.
How can Henry have come from this family... He is more like his _wife_ than anyone in the Royal Family.
He's more than "a ginger whinger" - he's much more like an "alien" as he has 'alienated' us all. 😐

Likewise! My grandmother was born 2 days after the death of Queen Victoria and lived to see 5 monarchs in her lifetime, by my age my grandmother had already seen King George V reign the longest, by the time she passed even my grandmother had seen Queen Elizabeth as longest reigning monarch in her lifetime. In contrast Queen Elizabeth was Queen the year of my birth, and crowned a year later. 1. The British Royal Family costs everyone c £1.29 per year each! They bring billions in return (tourism & trade).
      2. What did your ancestors do? Do you know? What are you going to do about it? Vikings? Slave traders or owners?
      3. “Common-wealth” has a meaning, if you read the word again you’ll see. The Commonwealth was created by Queen Elizabeth to bring the countries together & think… maybe share the wealth? Please relearn, correctly so lies don’t spread.

      *his given name is Henry.
"Harold" & "Willy" were names given by Henry and William in _fun_ as teens.
Neither _would_ nor _should_ be used these days, especially since Henry started his traitorous attacks on the Royal Family, our country and ourselves. The 'fun' was quickly leached from those teenage games when Meghan drew her web of lies and deceit around Henry and she discovered his own brand of cruelty was as hers, just kept under wraps by his family. I will not use Harold nor Harry again, but Henry*, as _he does not seem to like_ the name!
(*despite the vacuum cleaner Henry being more universally loved more than the Duke of Sussex!)

When I was 4 I had a kaleidoscope of the Queen's Coronation. Then when I was 5 my entire school walked to see the Queen in Australia. She was Queen my entire life. I cried too when I heard the news. Why does talking about the Queen have to include an imaginary reconciliation with the traitor Harry. Give it a break!!!! He didn't visit the Queen when she invited him, she was dying, and he was in Manchester. He then kept her family from seeing her before she died because his narcissistic wife insisted on coming. He's despicable. End of story!!!

How could anyone not respect the late Queen, all of those military personnel took an oath to her and she showed up and rode out leading her troops, sidesaddle for many years! and in poor weather at times, until she could not longer do so. Those photos must really strike the hearts of the younger military personnel who possibly never saw how she showed up. She was an incredible woman, and for many more reasons, as well. I wish one of you at the Daily Mail would verify if the story I heard was correct.
I'm talking about when the "four" went out to greet the public.
It was said that Harry and Meghan, even tough they had already stepped down as working Royals, stepped back from their Royal duties, that they had planned on ONLY themselves going out and greeting the well wishers, the mourners there for the Queen. I can remember thinking how dare these two think that was appropriate. Greeting the public as if they were the new or next King & Queen!!
I had understood that it upset Prince William so much, that he decided they would NOT be allowed to just walk out there ON THEIR OWN, as some sort of grab for attention and that instead of allowing that to happen, William decided that he and Princess Catherine would actually join them.
It made perfect sense to me, as all the Harkles do is "anything for attention" and to me after all of their disrespect and almost traitorous actions, they surly did not deserve that privilege all "on their own".
I still think that is what really started to happen and would have happened if Prince William had not stopped it. And I'm grateful & thankful he did.

Not strange, he didn't give a rat's ass 😂about her...
Everything he said was bollocks. When she gave him what he wanted he loved her, when she needed him to grow up and accept his responsibilities he hated her.
He stole her intensely personal nickname that she specifically told her family she didn't want used. He belittle, insulted and demeaned her life's work the Commonwealth.
The Queen almost begged Harry to come and see her in the days before her death, but he ignored her....

Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II was my Queen my whole life....I only remember King George VI through my father's conversations. Her's was the hand that steadied the tiller for the deconstructing Empire and guided the massive formation of the Commonwealth as the World knows it today. Like Rebecca and Richard I wept for hours after the news broke but I cannot imagine the shock and grief felt by her children and extended family even though they all knew how fragile her health had become. Queen Elizabeth had tiny feet but King Charles III, in spite of his supurb training, had enormous shoes to fill. I think his mother would be very proud of him. Long live King Charles.
