In certain regions (Arizona in my case), people are clearly paying what they're asking. Every dealership is still asking ADM over here and they're not budging a whole lot. Almost everyone who's said they've gotten deals or these cars for MSRP are located on the east coast. (OP included)
That couple G’s the sales manager was trying to knock off was that couple G’s they mysteriously added on lol. I buy a lot of cars, they fluff up shit then say they got wiggle room to come down in the hopes someone will just pull the trigger at the original quoted price
Let each dealer know what you are willing to pay for the car, out the door. Don't buy until they are ready to sell. You do not have to buy, so wait them out.
A whole bunch of things. M2 isn’t the same price point. It’s about 11k more before taxes and fees. Also, I’d rather have the Integra for things like reliability, longevity, customizability, fuel cost, after market support, just to name a few off top, and I can come up with more reasons. Type s and type r are the best value on market today

The additional $2,000 could be the warranty. I had a salesperson tell me that the warranty was included (FREE) and come to find out once looking over my paperwork…he lied!!! Also…you can dispute the hard inquiry through the credit bureau or instead call back to the dealership insisting they remove it because you did not authorize it to be pull…I would speak with a higher up. I would be extremely assertive and speaking in facts...DENY, DENY, DENY!!!! Talking with the dealership would be the quickest way in having it removed.
Fair credit practices require companies to disclose credit inquiries, and they are supposed to share with you the bureau they use to pull your credit. They are also required to disclose that a credit report will be pulled. I feel for you.
Now that '24 MY CTR's are coming through the next few weeks, you may have a better chance to score a Type R at MSRP. Dealerships aren't going to want '23MY cars sitting around with ADM.
Anyone paying over sticker for this car is out of their mind. You very quickly get into TLX type S territory. The TLX type S is easily available for sticker and is worlds better, it’s night and day better
It’s not subjective. It’s a better car in every way. The only argument you could legitimately make is that it’s heavier. Unless you’re actually on a track, it will outperform the Integra in every category. It’s hard to even take a comment like this seriously because it tells me you’ve never driven both cars. The TLX type S is widely superior to the Integra Type S As a tip that well, I mean it’s really well-known . Rowing your own gears will only slow you down. I much prefer a manual transmission but I recognize it’s going to make me slower. Once upon a time in my youth, the manual was faster, it’s not anymore

There is so many problems and recalls on Acura v6 engine. Supposedly all sells are stopped until problem is resolved. I’ll stick with proven 4 cylinder superior engine design. I like reliability the most.

@moonrockschopshop Do you already own a house? Paying $1200+ month for civic seems insane unless you really making bank. We're talking about $2k a month after insurance/premium gas for a civic. I think I'd regret that decision every single month I'm making that payment lol. That's several million if just invest it in lame index funds instead. I know that's boring advice but I'm old already made the mistakes. If you need make the mistakes to learn do so.
