@Lila-ie1eoI work customer service. When someone is genuine about their screw up and nice, I will move heaven and earth to do whatever I can to help them LMAO, she definitely meant every word she said
Now I need to know what are you talking about. I mean, I KNOW she was princessing at disney and for a company, but how does she does that on the skits?
@@AngieDeAguirre "Disney-bounding" is wearing an outfit that represents a Disney character in an abstract way (color scheme, themed accessories) without wearing a costume that a guest could mistake for one of the Cast Members.
@@splendidcolors ohhhhh like what people do in disney that want to go as a character but you can't go in custome! I got it! Thank you! I'll be waiting for that to appear in her characters from now on! ♥
Agreed 1000%. I'll take an hour of niceness on accomplishing nothing since I still get friendly banter out of it, than 3 seconds of rudeness and getting something accomplished.
Absolutely. I once spent 20 minutes on a phone call with a sweet older lady who didn't know how computers worked. She had the TV blaring in the background, knew nothing about technology higher than email, but she was very sweet, polite, and respectful. Loved her and wished I could have helped her more.
Agreed! But when traveling for work, we don't have a choice. We have to book through the corporate travel vendor. Luckily THEY have pretty good customer service, once you get past the phone tree.
I used to install hotel furniture, including artwork. When properly installed, a wall painting is _ridiculously_ hard to remove without the knowledge and tools to do so. The guy with the fake mustache would've had large chunks of drywall still attached to that painting.
Hi! I just gotta say, your videos helped me when staying at a hotel for a competition recently! I basically felt entirely prepared to make things as smooth as possible for hotel staff when checking in and out, and during my stay at the hotel overall! Also, I really enjoy your content and love those long skit videos you have! Please keep making more!
I was almost expecting Jessica to say "We do not rent rooms by the hour" in that first skit. That kind of thing might be done in the red light district, but not in "The Hotel I Work At™". Ariel, Belle, and Cinderella in the last skit don't seem bright enough to understand how reservations work. Third party booking guy was smarter, and I think he might book direct in the future. I almost always book it myself direct; either in hotels or bed & breakfasts. The only exceptions I can think of is have been booking Disney World hotels rooms via a travel agent (and those were special cases).
You really helped me figure out what to say when faced with these conundrums as a front desk agent. Love it that you model appropriate responses to crazy people.😂
To be fair, I've looked up my hotel with correct address and name, booked online from the site, and been told when I arrived that I'd booked third party. I've even called the hotel and asked specific questions about where the room was in the building and room accommodations only to find out when I arrived that the site and phone number were third party. Now I check web search results very carefully.
I sadly knew someone who could've been the first lady when it came to the "hotel in-room phone" Also, a guest who ADMITS they were the one who made a mistake when it's revealed, is a good guest
8:17 wait a minute, didn't they want to at least upgrade one of the rooms to a double? So they should be happy that both of the rooms are gonna be doubles
I was on my way to a dog show at one point and walked into the lobby of a hotel with the dog and she looks at me and says you can’t have that dog in here. I very quickly realized that the hotel I had booked was the one on the other side of the parking lot. 😂
Love how the girl who messed up, and other guests like her, always use the word YOU as a weapon to pin all the the blame on, even tho it was her own fault
I started to work at hotel booking about 3 months ago and there have been SO many calls about people booking their dates wrong on third party apps, but i cant help them at all lol its just kinda funny tho
I like that the two-mistakes guy was so nice instead of taking it out on you, but I never saw you give his ID back to him Even knowing it’s not real hasn’t stopped the nagging feeling of “stop him before he gets too far!”
Anyone else notice the three ladies in the last skit seem to be modern day Cinderella, Aurora and Belle? Also, I feel like sleephead Aurora should have been the one that booked
As someone who works in retail, the amount of times you have to repeat yourself before someone finally understands that you need a very specific set of information to help them is mind boggling. No, I don't need to know the story surrounding the situation. No, I don't need to know why you're trying to do this thing. I just need to know XYZ thing, please help me to help you.
Also waiting for a collab between you and Ryan Kelly. Feels like you are the opposite gender counterparts of the other so something about it would make my soul very happy. Thanks for all the great content.
I just had a great stay at a hotel but with an interesting issue that I might appreciate one of your great explainer videos on: The fire safety rules listed inside the room had several spelling mistakes in the other languages into which it was translated, resulting in some of them being complete gibberish and having nonexistent words. The Italian one just said “Attention to guests, please call the front desk” with no mention whatsoever of those instructions being in reference to fire. What has been your experience when dealing with those posters on the door especially when dealing with languages not the most likely to encounter in this country? (German, French, Italian) I’m sure people can work out what it’s about, but at the same time it reflects poorly on the brand as a whole…
The guy with the wrong date booking, well in my opinion, he was so mistreated. Most of the time Jessica is right on point, but this time. She was rude and disrespectful. She should have upgraded his room and not even charged him!
Why DO people use the word "ridiculous" so often? It's an odd linguistic phenomenon. The second something doesn't go our way the situation becomes "ridiculous."
I like the skit with the double mistake in booking. The guy was very cooperative and understanding, and he didn't blame the hotel for his own mistake.
Exactly I thought at least it was a good interaction he was really polite!
I was in a similar situation once, I was so embarassed. The lady I was talking to kept reassuring me that everything is OK, she was really sweet.
The best reason not to book third party. If you book through the hotel and stay polite, they will help a lot.
Yes. That was a nice one. It’s always nice to see good customers that don’t blame businesses or employees for their own mistakes.
@Lila-ie1eoI work customer service. When someone is genuine about their screw up and nice, I will move heaven and earth to do whatever I can to help them LMAO, she definitely meant every word she said
Refreshing to see the cooperative and understanding guy who made two mistakes. Would enjoy seeing him back if I worked at your hotel.
Loving the subtle Disney-bounding with the characters based on the princesses. Very on brand for you and a great callback to your roots.
Now I need to know what are you talking about. I mean, I KNOW she was princessing at disney and for a company, but how does she does that on the skits?

Yesss!! I noticed that and I hoped someone else would! Jess looks so pretty dressed like the princesses.
Hot take: I'd rather have a nice customer waste my time with something time consuming than a rude customer with something not time consuming.

Love how you modeled the three ladies after Disney princesses. :)
Love the Hotel Skit Compilations. I may or may not have previously binged all of them...
Same!
Ditto
One thing I’ve learned in watching these videos is to never make reservations with a third party.
Agreed!

NEW JESSICA VANEL COMP DROPPED! I look forward to these so much
Loved the call out to your disguises. lol You do a great job of changing them up. Thanks for helping me be an even better hotel guest.
I love these things. I binge all of them when I’m doing stuff. Thank you
Yes! Love these, can't belive I got here so early. Watching all of these currently
I absolutely adore these compilations! ..and it's not like I binged them multiple times or something😂 ❤ Love u Jess!
At least the two mistakes in a row was nice about.
As a "Hospitality Veteran" I get "flashbacks" watching these! 😂
Jess is gorgeous as a redhead though!!
Hey i really love your skits
LOVE YOUU❤❤

Cinderella's been spending too much time with her step family

Love your videos! I enjoy clean comedy so thank you.
I have watched I'm pretty sure all of her videos so I can always expect what will happen 😂
1:09 the same could be said of you it seems...😂
I sadly knew someone who could've been the first lady when it came to the "hotel in-room phone"
Also, a guest who ADMITS they were the one who made a mistake when it's revealed, is a good guest
I love all your skits! ❤
I may or may not have save the playlist. 😂
Whelp, they got the double room they wanted in that last one lol. Also I love that the three girls look like Disney princesses!!
I'd have too large of an alcohol bill if I worked in the Hospitality industry.
8:17 wait a minute, didn't they want to at least upgrade one of the rooms to a double? So they should be happy that both of the rooms are gonna be doubles
It looks like they were trying to save money; a double costs more than a single.
I was on my way to a dog show at one point and walked into the lobby of a hotel with the dog and she looks at me and says you can’t have that dog in here. I very quickly realized that the hotel I had booked was the one on the other side of the parking lot. 😂
"You need to honor the reservation that we booked!"
"Well, see you next month then!"
The group of women in the last skit should've been happy to get rooms at all. 😂
It’s funny that an older lady was so against using the “old phone” 😂
As you always say, book direct with the hotel and not 3rd party.
I clicked so fast i didnt even finish reading the pop up
i didn’t even read the pop up 😂
Love how the girl who messed up, and other guests like her, always use the word YOU as a weapon to pin all the the blame on, even tho it was her own fault
As someone with COPD who has had to sleep in my car because of smoke residue in all rooms, I am so glad policies about smoking have changed.
I started to work at hotel booking about 3 months ago and there have been SO many calls about people booking their dates wrong on third party apps, but i cant help them at all lol its just kinda funny tho
I actually witnessed a guy walk out of a hotel with a large screen TV a couple of years ago. 😊
I never minded if someone nice "wasted my time". People make mistakes and next time they might remember me in a positive way and come back.
She looks nice as a redhead too 😊
I like that the two-mistakes guy was so nice instead of taking it out on you, but I never saw you give his ID back to him
Even knowing it’s not real hasn’t stopped the nagging feeling of “stop him before he gets too far!”
I noticed that too!
Well at least the guy who booked the wrong dates was nice lol
God how I miss working in hospitality 😂😂😂😂
There was a lady in my hometown that tried to steal a whole sink. As you can imagine it didnt work.
“Can you take this food back? I only took one bite, so you should refund my money, right?”
Goldilocks checked in. 😅😅😅😅😅
This is why we need travel agents again.
You heard it from Jessica, people: Steal hotel property AT NIGHT.
The one thing these videos have taught me is to NEVER book third party
"No ma'am, YOU are the only OLD thing that desn't work."
Anyone else notice the three ladies in the last skit seem to be modern day Cinderella, Aurora and Belle? Also, I feel like sleephead Aurora should have been the one that booked
I think Aurora was in Sleeping Beauty and had blonde hair. Ariel in The Little Mermaid has red hair.
People can be ridiculous!!!

I got here in less than a minute
59 mins
Under an hour
PEOPLE !!!!!!!😱😱🥶
I actually took a photo of the mattress information because I was needing a new mattress
Ah third party apps, the bane of hotel work
It doesn't give me notifications for some reason and yet I still made it in 8 minuites
We've had artwork stolen from our hotel. Honestly it's pretty cheap prints but still who takes stuff off the wall and takes it home with them?
Out of all the crazy things entitled people do, how does someone think they can possibly steal a painting from a hotel in daylight?
Let the mustache guy leave !!!!
👇🏻😊☺️Been here since the Disney bounding videos gang
Working with the public is "ridiculous"! LOL You're such a beautiful woman but I really like you as a redhead!
Below an hour gang!!
If I book through the Wyndham website for a Marriott by Wyndham is that a third party booking?
The fact that my moms name is Jennifer smith 😭🙏
Also waiting for a collab between you and Ryan Kelly. Feels like you are the opposite gender counterparts of the other so something about it would make my soul very happy.

How many wigs do you own?

Your videos make me glad I don’t work in the hotel industry. The level of entitlement.

Such bs with people complaining about landlines. Grow up! Wake up! World is dead yet.
Ridiculous.
How can anyone be so stupid?
So lame. Get a life.
i truly hope that one guy found the hotel he rebooked at, dude can't catch a break
