We visit this video because a gay black man was KILLED for being unapologetically himself and my heart breaks for him, his family, his community. I want better for my queer community, im so filled with anger and sadness that I'm here to watch his talent only after he passed, only after hearing of his passing. Why must we fear being ourselves and why must we be killed for being ourselves? This has to end now and we have to make an effort to protect our community now more than ever!
Sad, angry, and frustrated with all the rampant intolerance, ignorance, and evil in this world. Rest in peace and power, Mr. Sibley. Thank you for blessing us with your courage, talents, beauty and light. People like you give me hope for the universe. Praying for comfort and strength for your family, friends, loved ones and admirers. People - if you are not willing to put the necessary time and effort into raising your offspring to respect and revere ALL human life and be tolerant, compassionate, empathetic, gentle, loving, kind and understanding creatures - then PLEASE don’t reproduce. There is plenty of free birth control available. Peace and love.
What a wonderful video. Oshea was a great light. Why is this happening. It is like being pushed back fifty years. Our past gay friends who fought in the Stonewall riots did not want this to happen..😢😢
I share your outrage and feeling of devastation and am just commenting that O'Shea Sibley was not the choreographer of this particular piece. This was choreographed by Will Ervin and directed by Kemar Jewel. Sibley is one of the dancers. It doesn't make his death any less horrific.
@@naragarber5271 thank you, you are right. I figured out my error later and meant to come back and edit. Thank you for helping me do that and also for telling me more about this amazing piece. Choreographers are unsung heroes.
Beautiful. It made me think of this song lyric: Come bring me your softness Comfort me through all this madness... "With You I'm Born Again" by David Shire & Carol Connors
Dance In Peace O'Shae Sibley 😔 We Love You 🕊
Rest in power O’Shae Sibley. Sending all of my love to the Queer Black community now and forever.

Love you Kemar, and love you O'Shae. You are deeply missed.
What a loss for the world that this amazing dancer was taken from us. And in a hate crime. It makes me despair.
