Awesome demo. I've a '79 F250 Supercab that I'm putting two 15s in and I was more concerned with the cabs ceiling resonating vibrations, there's also no support ribs going across either for structural strength. The patches is what I was curious about. Thank you!

People also use sound deadeners for SQ systems too not just powerful ground pounders.

How did you arrive at the 30% spot for diminishing returns?
I have a sound pressure meter and noticed that the results drop off pretty rapidly after 30 percent coverage.
This did.... nothing.
