    Thank you for a super video, I wrecked a Lipo yesterday prompting me to look for an alert, your work is brilliant, thank you.

    Thankyou I have been using Oscar langs version and still get false alarms and is far more complicated. This one works better and is simpler. AAA++++

    Good advice, I just set this up last night after I finally got a telemetry capable receiver installed.

    Nice video mate! Helped me a lot to understand what's possible with the Taranis. Added L03|a>x|Throttle|-95 on L01 and L02 chaned switch to L03. Useful for Planes.

    Followed your tutorial.
    Very clear instructions.
    Then I spent next 2 hours trying to figure out why it wasn't working for me.
    Turns out that I didn't have the sound pack downloaded onto a SD card.
    Anyone wondering why there is no sound.
    Make sure you have the sound pack downloaded from open TX.
    still a great tutorial tho.
    Thank you.

    But What if I sometimes use 3 or 4cell lipo on one quad...?

  • @elis51501
    @elis51501 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    It’s for the Mr.Steele idle up setup he uses that I setup on my taranis but I would like to add this feature to prevent enabling idleup with the throttle potentially set to mid position and causing the quad to arm and take off:)

  • @redazu911
    @redazu911 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    How do you fix the VFAS increments on the X9D+? On my 1s quad it just jumps from 3.81v to 3.62v to 3.43v to 3.2v or something. It's not accurate at all. If voltage is at 3.6v then it will show 3.43v the whole time for example. It just shows those few increments. On my x-lite it actually shows the voltage to the 100th of a volt. Example 3.61v, 3.60v, 3.59v, 3.58v all the way down nicely.

    Master Taranis !One of the best Videos of Taranis i have seen. I have upgrade my radio and not showing VFAS, WICH ONE is the new name for VFAS ?On Radio? Thanks a Lot ! Greetings from Peru

  • @elis51501
    @elis51501 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    Excellent explanation of logical switches! Would you be able to assist with setting up a special function of? IF [throttle value]>[min throttle] AND [idle up switch] is not activated THEN overwrite [arm switch value] to [disarmed]

  • @ianhuxstep211
    @ianhuxstep211 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Very good video and easy to follow, you set the logical switch "AND" function to be used with a switch could a throttle value be used for example the battery "condition" alarms will only sound when throttle is above -100

    • @WhirlyBloke
      @WhirlyBloke  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes there's loads of logic you can use to get whatever behaviour you need. Thanks for the feedback.

    Thanks for this great video, I've set this up on my TX16S and it's working well. Would you perhaps know how to disable the default RX battery warnings, as I now have both warnings?

      Check my Zorro video. It's basically the same on a TX16S to set the voltages and warnings th-cam.com/video/IFvLQy3KrKs/w-d-xo.html

    Why does your telemetry return VFAS as the flight battery voltage whereas mine returns CELS? Is there a difference?

    will this work with a fixed wing receiver or do you have to have certain electronics to get this to work for a vfas voltage alarm?

    • @WhirlyBloke
      @WhirlyBloke  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can put this on anything - RC quad, plane, boat, car. You need a flight controller that has a voltage sensor, supporting firmware and a receiver that supports telemetry.

    I suppose you could do the same with cell voltage instead of VFAS that way if you use 3,4,or 5s batteries, it would have the same warnings. thanks for the vids. :)
