Nightwing always seems to be nerfed and underappreciated, and in fact, wasn't included in too many things for a long ass time before that. I'm hoping that changes soon.
There was some writing issues, but at least he felt like Nightwing unlike Tim Drake who was a completely different character. If anything Tim in the Arkham games felt more like Dick Grayson than Tim Drake. Honestly, you could make an entire video instead of a short regarding if the Arkhamverse Tim Drake was a good adaptation.
Agree with the Harley thing maybe that should have been Robin which then shows how unprepared he is because Bruce won’t let him leave the sidelines. As for penguin i get the impression dick let’s himself get caught just to embarrass the penguin a bit because why not he finds it fun

To be fair, the second time penguin sneaked up on him he was easily able to land the first hit, he was just waiting for Batman to be ready
He was able to Arrest poison ivy, by himself. Don't forget that batman was brought to his knees, and would have died, if nightwing didn't save him. If nightwing is looked at as "bad" For getting captured by Pinguin, then that means the same for batman. He only realized that Pinguin was there, after he had announced themselves.
The arkham games establish nightwing as batman's equal.
Tim drake being the one to end up with barbra was a little wierd for me
It also feels like they artificially aged him up in Knight as Tim looked like he was 17 to 20 in City but in Knight he's in his late 20s to early 30s seeing how he is a science teacher.

@@Vitallor Tim had one in City and he looked fine with his age, for me it's the face and build.

Honestly I don’t mind penguin capturing nightwing mainly for the reason nightwing has zero protection for his head meaning one shot and he’s dead, also penguins really short so he could probably be able to sneak up on nightwing.
rocksteady does the bat family dirty in all of these games
I am fine with with Nightwing loosing to Ivy as he was practically jumped by her and it's hard to fight a tree plus I think he was pretending to be captured by penguin seeing how he was easily able to get out of that chair.
But yeah I feel like Nightwing is a big nothing burger in game as he does nothing in games and feels like the least plot relevant character in Arkham.
Honestly as time goes on I am starting to see that Arkham while a great a game is far from flawless and may not be perfect in a lot of ways.
