I was posted in Kashmir Valley and love her and her people. That is both Kashniri Muslims and Kashmiri Pandts; in any case they are the same people. What surprised me is this lady touching the feet. I cannot make out who she is. It surprised me since by tradition genuine Kashmiri Brahmans never touch the feet of any mortal. Either she in shock due to terrorism being from a remote part (also illiterate) of the Valley or most likely a Boor. These are half-Brahmans and half-Khatris and they have such traditions. A typical example of Kashmiri Brahmans that I know or knew is Raaj Kumar the actor.
