Hi Troy, you haven’t missed much, the “catching” has been tough this summer. Hopefully it will improve soon. We redid our kitchen a few years ago, so I know what you’re experiencing. Thanks for the comment.
So what's your preferred method for cooking trout? Plus I love the 'what the heck attitude', it worked. LOL I'll be doing a little bass fishing this weekend and getting my gear ready for the lagoon. Thanks for sharing.
Hi Steve, we like them best fried. I remove the scales, filet them leaving the skin on, season with salt and pepper, coat in cracker meal or Panko and fry in hot oil. Good luck and have a nice weekend.
" I was using a size 2500 reel with 15 pound test line, which was no match for this bruiser." Yup, probably a bit shy with the hardware but, it was exciting!!!!!!! Ray
Catching up on your videos, very nice. Still doing kitchen remodel. Hope to get out soon! Nice work!

I had another Mirrodine on a larger reel, but I said “Nope, no way I am losing it”.
