Welcome to St Helen and St Katharine

Founded in 1903, St Helen and St Katharine is an independent day school for girls in Abingdon, six miles south of Oxford. Our 700 pupils study in a campus-style environment of beautiful Victorian and modern buildings, set in 22 acres of grounds. We are proud of our outstanding academic record which makes us one of the leading girls' schools in the country. Close links with Abingdon School add a co-educational dimension, with some subjects taught jointly in the sixth form, and much collaboration in music, drama productions, extracurricular activities and socially at all ages.
