Welcome to the hobby! It's def not the cheapest possible option, but I think if you want to invest in something that's gonna give you perfect lighting with the minimum of fuss it's def worth looking into
Thanks for the review. I don't have a dedicated hobby space at home and am searching for a solution to quickly setup and then later put away for short 1-2 hour painting sessions. Do you think the Lucent would satisfy that requirement? or is it a bit unruly to constantly setup and pack down?
I am particularly lazy about stuff like that and so I've just left it at my desk for a while now. It just takes a couple of minutes to put away tho, really not an issue when I do need to
Hello and thank you for the review; I've been thinking about ordering this lamp for a while (I'm French) can you tell me if the joints are of good quality and stable over time? As we cannot see the mechanism, I am afraid that over time the joints will become loose and that I will no longer be able to tighten them because apparently the covers cannot be removed...thank you in advance for your feedback.
I've been using this for a few months now and the joints are still in great condition. I really couldn't say for longer periods of time sorry! I will say they started off very stiff and difficult to manipulate and now seem much easier, while retaining stability. Whether that's me getting used to using the light or a slight loosening I'm not sure!
Thanks for your review. I also struggle sitting at my hobby desk for long and need to lean back. I really appreciate your perspective!
Just ordered for myself, thanks for the review!
Awesome, hope you find it as useful as I have!
Thanks for your review…. Just looking into lighting as I’m starting the painting hobby

Nice ! As someone with chronic arthritus throughout my spine this looks like it will be right up my street. 😊
It's been super handy for me, hope it helps you!

Hi, was the power adapter you used just a plug converter?
Yep just a standard universal plug adaptor!
