If you have access to camera and can film test it, it’s a good idea to use a sacrificed “test roll” to run it through 5 plus times to make sure it winds and cocks properly each and every time in quick succession. Can sometimes be quirks with the film door latches needing significant pressure to close at times which won’t always show up immediately. May also be indicative of other less easily remediated issues. Don’t ask me how I know this….

Nice to see someone know what they're talking about - great video. There's an easy way to check bellows - rack them out and put a small led torch into the chamber, close the back and then go into a darkened room - inspect camera. Any light leaks will be obvious. If it lets light out, it will let light in ';0)

@@WorldwideCameraExchange No probs - works especially well with LF cameras too - lens cap on and then just shove a DDS in to create a (hopefully) light tight box.

Thanks a lot Jonathan I've just checked mine out, I haven't used as yet and all seems good. Love your channel it saved me money when I was about to buy a Bronica SQAI after checking the shutter speeds I realised they was faulty they all sounded the same even with a new battery. Also a lens looked great until I put a torch through it and found fungus your a star doing these vids thanks.

Thanks. Glad they’re useful! Bronica, Mamiya, Hasselblad etc are all excellent cameras but you must buy with caution. Age is taking its toll!

Hello Jonathan. Nice video. I own a C330-S and a C220-F. On my C220-F, the focusing rack (rack and pinion?) is too loose. The lens board does not stay in place unless I hold the focusing knob steady after focusing. Is there a way to tighten up the friction on the C220-F focusing mechanism? Thanks, Steve (New York).

I'm not an expert in repairs, but given the camera's high-quality construction, I'm sure it can be tightened.

@@WorldwideCameraExchange It took some time but I have a C220 on its way to me. Hopefully it truly as good as it looked in the photos.

Is the viewfinder screen in the Professional S, any brighter than in earlier models?

The screens were improved but not significantly (at least in my option). Beattie made screens for the Mamiya C330s which were better.
