You can make pax paint with acrylic paints liquitex is my preference you can find a formula online from dick smith that's really good. I would also suggest pondering between every pax color you use as well as sealing it with blue marble sealer and I would highly recommend sealing blue marble sealer between colors when using alcohol paints for texture
I love to watch an expert do anything-seriously. I don't care what it is. If you are a garbage man and can flick that bag in the truck effortlessly, I'll watch. I don't know why.
Really very cool. The teeth were great too but they were too white and clean for this look. A tooth stain paint by Ben Nye or Pegworks would have given that extra detail.
Firstly I want to congratulate you and say that I'm already a fan! rs Only one detail. I'm from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and I am a filmmaker starting some small independent productions, short films. I loved to watch his class!! Only I did not understand anything that was said by you epela narration. SHOULD HAVE some translation into Portuguese. rs kkk
Can some one tell me what is best to use on those foam latex face prosthetic that you get on the web ,It say's that you should use a grease type makeup? Now is there a paint that can be used so it will stay on it and if taken off with care could get a few uses out of the mask? I just want to know if it is easier and or better to use like a grease makeup wheel from Graftobain or is there some kind of paint or spray paint that would be good and permanent? Thanks to any one who can shed light on this 4 me.
***** Oh so you used actual PAINT not one of those Theatrical Makeup wheel things you see go with the face prosthetic? That's kind of my "DELI MA" I don't have the resources to experiment and would like to find out about Grease Paints VS grease Makeups? And I guess they sell little quantities of grease paint for this I was thinking about it only coming in Lg. Amounts for Air Brushing and the like.
for as dirty as the face appliance was, i wish they did more with the color and condition of the teeth. They seemed a little too white and perfect for the character. but still, a good paint job.
Wow his voice and wig totally ruined it. I saw the end look much differently. Still very cool though! I love this, actually. I am going to do a full on "sexy devil" latex mask in a business suit. I'm going to act very devilish all day and play with a lighter. Cant wait! Great tut!!
Great sculpting and great painting. It's hilarious to see the model looking at himself in the mirror like "holy shit I'm ugly!" XD
Gil you're incredible. I am dying to come back to mud for the special effects and character portion.
I love that you made certain parts glossy, so effective!
all about the layers! great job!
Gill is so talented: I was terrible at making foam latex prosthetics at university!
I have a blast watching this tutorial everytime! I cant wait to get enrolled... ;-)

I thought that using 99% alcohol for skin isn't safe. I'm confused.
