    Hashtags won't help with reach in the algorithm. But it's wrong to say it won't help at all. When people wanna look for specific topics, they search by hashtags, and there they can find you. So you should at least use some generic hashtags about the niche and your skills in case someone wants to find you and who knows, maybe you'll get a job offer.

    You gave a great brief with a logical organic approach, that's what I like the most. Also, I want to add to what you said about Instagram hangtags; it actually lowers your reach it doesn't just cap it.

    Hi Viktor, thank you for this very informative video. I can see how the brief showing of the model being made can be a great hook. Interesting re the hashtag situation. I have wondered for a while about recording and showing work ( I mainly do interior Arch viz renders) but not knowing where to start in the many different components putting it all together with sound/music all the editing ( there is a recommendation for your next video ) have you tried capcut that I have heard of others using? Also is that a conscious decision about being ‘faceless’ in you videos and do you think it makes a difference for or against?

    • @vf_3d
      @vf_3d  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Visuals_by_Design Glad you liked the video! And thanks for the recommendation for a video idea 💡
      I've tried capcut! I use it for automatic subtitles sometimes. For editing I use the free version of DaVinci Resolve. I think editing in Capcut would take a lot longer, so I highly recommend DaVinci. It's great for color correction/grading as well!
      Faceless videos are basically because I don't have a camera or microphone. So I use my phone as a microphone, but it has to be pretty close to my face to get good audio, and therefore I can't really use it to record video. For my Instagram reels and tiktok videos I don't think my face would add much, but I'll probably show my mug more in TH-cam videos in the future!

    Thanks for sharing this, totally agree on not showing the final result until the end, it keeps the user hooked so they have to see it all in order to get the result.
    It’s a great way to approach it, the short clips showing process like you said are key as they have to be interesting enough to hold the users attention, I’ve heard small cuts can be good as it shows something new consistently.
    As for hash tags I agree they are not worth the effort, maybe TikTok like you said but on IG is more about SEO now and writing a good caption to compliment the video.

    Thanks for the video, your process edits are really clean + satisfying to see! I'm a bit stuck on how to implement this in my case though:
    I tend to create looping animations currently so it doesn't really work to show the process before it since it ruins the loop. I'm considering posting a version with the process, then the final result, but then maybe a day later I post the finished looping result on it's own (but the annoying part is the thumbnails will be super similar unless I hide one from my feed). Quite a few of my followers aren't really 3D artists and seem to just like seeing the final result too.
    Or alternatively I could start doing some that don't loop, just so I can add the process in, maybe every 2-3 posts?

    • @vf_3d
      @vf_3d  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@Matt-fo4gg Yeah I'd say give it a try. If it does well, great! If not, maybe that's not what people want to see from you. It's good to experiment and see what sticks!

      @@vf_3d True, I think I'm overly precious on my feed being super consistent start to end, probably to my own detriment 😅 but I should definitely experiment more with the format.

      It totally makes sense why it works as well since it's keeping engagement and watch time throughout the whole reel.
      I've noticed people that do traditional art are doing the same too. Though I think that's a bit more universally appealing to see the process of than 3D - but I think you're making your process feel more satisfying than it typically is, which helps a lot in drawing people's attention :)
