Yes you will have to manually turn wifi on and off when using the remote with the camera

You can use a program called FormatFactory, which allows you to convert audio, video, and pictures. Do you have a movie editing software?

Yes you can. Just make sure to use the waterproof backdoor (solid door), and they make surf mounts for your GoPro too. Go to GoPro.com and look through their accessories. If you have the skeleton backdoor on (with openings) and don't know how to change them, I have a video showing you how to change them. Hope this helps! :)

Well the camera actually outputs a wifi signal and the remote connects to that signal, so yes, it can be used anywhere

Any idea what it can be when it's not able to get synced? I tried hard reset of camera and tried the complete procedure without any succes. the picture with the two arrows that are moving keeps posted on the screen and unfortunately no check box or indication that it's synced...could use some help / advice

Hy! One question I would like to know if the wifi remote that goes also with the wi-fi BacPac (so it's for hero2) it could go in the hero 3 (the wifi remote)

until then he can set it to automatic and it goes to higher when the connection allows it. Iget the same thing and i have about 6 mbit line adsl.

Sometimes it takes a minute to connect, but if it doesn't connect at all sometimes then I'm not sure what to do because I don't know how to reset it. Just go to the GoPro website and give them a call, they'll probably be able to help you.

Make sure the remote is plugged in and the display will say "remote battery" with a battery icon filling up. Hope I explained it well enough.
